Hey guys got my 2 sapphires in the mail today. I didn't get the kit, just the cartos.

First thing I noticed is the cool little tip to fill the thing was not in the box or bag or anywhere. I filled it with a syringe (so much for easy filling)

First 10 drags were VERY good. I was impressed. Good flavor, good TH, good vapor. I kept going and soon the draw became tight and and got that dry atty taste.

Idk maybe I am doing it wrong. I am using 60pg/40vg juice.

I am letting it sit for a while before i try again.

Fray - did you take those first 10 hits one after another? Perhaps you were vaping too quickly to allow for the juice to wick properly with 40%VG. Perhaps slowing down or using a thinner juice would help?

I'd like to know more about your initial impressions as I have 2 Sapphires on the way as well.

it sure does, if it still gives you issues contact me ian pm, like i mentioned i have sapphires here going on for weeks and weeks. and i doubt it is your juice unlessr your mixing your own with extra sweetners and stuff, then you would be taking atomizers to wear they sometimes cant go, try the second sapphire out and see how that one works out for ya

for clarification, some people use normal ejuice, pg or vg and flavoring and nic, some others use sweeteners, sucrose, ethol maltol, on top of that you can add vitamin juice and papaya juice and puregrain alcohol and then other ingredients on top of that like caffeine and boosters all in the same juice which can be cloggy and cause issue with atomizers, so i doubt your using anything like that, so give the second one a go and report back to us.

I have the second one filled and sitting there. I will try it out after it sits for a little while.

I will add I am using this on a reo grand with a freshly charged aw imr 18650. I don't have a bottle in it right now, but if I have no luck I will try to prime it with the bottom feeder

The juice is DIY. No sweeteners just dk tobacco, vanilla, and a little caramel from tpa. Flavoring is mixed at 10%

then like i mentioned I doubt its your juice, that juice mix sounds as normal as can be.

give the second one a whirl and let us know, your using this at below 5v as well so it should be just fine. let us know the results.

you shouldnt need to prime anything by the way, let it soak for 30 seconds or so and vape.

They target the atomizers in these with a PG bias. So if you use anything more than say, a 25% VG, it just a matter of physics. You have to probably give it a little more than 4-5 secs between draws. I know, I have sessions vaping when I take a draw about every 5-6 seconds, that's normal, but just keep this in mind...

I am on draw about 25 before I had to take a break on the second one. It works as advertised. Using the same juice. Vaping at same frequency. It's nice to be able to take draw after draw with this consistency.

I did notice a distinct difference is the 2 cartos. On the second one I can see the wick in the spike (lack of a better term) on the first one I don't see any wick. Maybe a defective carto???

I agree somewhat with fray. I posted my experience with my first sapphire last night, after it came apart. I did get it back together and working again, let it sit overnight and this morning it was dead. I noticed a difference in the wick too. Can't get it back going. The second one will not work on my sapphire ego or any other ego. No amount of center post wiggling on either makes it work. It works on my provape though. The 3rd one is working well at the moment on anything. I love the idea of it, but I'm not dumping my boge. Too Inconsistent. Flavor is less to me. And Ive used a lot of cartos, tanks, etc in the last 4 months. Always return to boge.

Wow. That response was pure class. Nicely done, Bad. Many people would have been tempted to shift blame and question the user, the juice, the relative humidity, the time of day, the longitude, gravity, astrological sign, phase of the moon, etc.

You didn't avoid the issue and didn't start blaming. In fact, you did just the opposite.

Like I said, class.

There is a reason I shop here.

Just saying.
