No it's not! lol now i'm all .... scared about using SS mesh! I only rolled and vaped maybe 4 times on mesh back in the day. I might just stick with japanese cotton in my Sat22 and genny tilt that bisch. lol

I still tilt with mesh. I haven't been able to build a mesh wick that can withstand my chain vaping. Especially since I take so many damn puffs at a time on the sat22. I did play around a rayon/mesh hybrid wick and it seemed to hold up without tilting. Will try again soon.

Just found some on Amazon... $9.00 for an ~ 12"x8" sheet of 325, 316l. though i'm not sure this is the best stuff. Check the second review!? lol ... http://www.amazon.com/Stainless-Steel-Mesh-325x325-316L/dp/B00EYTRNVM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1409319868&sr=8-1&keywords=316l+325+stainless+steel+mesh

316l is medical implant stainless steel.

I'm calling BS on the review, it's a baseless accusation that any person would, if true, had hired a lawyer and easily won a huge settlement.

Jeez, snow blind, it seems like you are just one-two steps ahead of me on things that I find and want to look into buying lol.

Hey man, what can i say... we have good taste! lol

So i think i've finally got the Sat22 (and the Nahualon as well) dialed in build wise. I can't decide if i prefer mesh over cotton yet. You can tell a difference with flavor (the mesh giving a crisper flavor and more throat hit) but i cant decide which i prefer.

I can't find any videos on this thing with a cotton build. I'm guessing you wick both holes... ?? Then pull 1 wick out to refill? Seems odd but I'll give it a shot. I have one on the way...

No you leave the fill hole open just like a mesh setup otherwise it won't wick properly. I don't think you can have dual wicks on the sat22 anyway because the chamber is just big enough for the wick and negative post.

Yeah, I think it's just preference. Btw, are you getting a lot of heat on your build? Chain vaping gets this thing hot which is understandable since the chamber is so small. Cotton/rayon keeps the heat out of the tank much better than mesh but if I'm using it continuously the whole tank will get hot enough to mess with my liquid eventually.

agreed...chinese brass is a big no no for me.
Does that Infinite clone have a brass center post? I'm not too crazy about having brass on the deck of my atty, especially coming from a Chinese clone...

I have been looking for a really nice genny to get lately, would love to get one of these, just that brass from China would make me feel uncomfortable everytime I vaped it lol

Well I got the infinity clone of the sat22,and I don't know if anyone out there can chime in about how they compare to each other vape wise, but as for the clone...it was a good vape, but I wasn't that impressed with the vape.If anyone can give uas a comparision between the authentic and the clone.that would be great.

I don't know about the clone, but in my opinion, the original Satburn 22 is a stellar vape with outstanding flavour. The draw is perfect for a genesis.

I use it with cable wick setup, but it pretty much works with every thing you throw at it (I mean different types of SS mesh) and the setup is a breeze.

You know Scott Bonner the e cig reviewer says that "People think that smaller chambers give better flavor, but that it's not true, smaller chambers just give a different kind of flavor"......when he said that I didn't really agree with him I had a Pulse G (which I still think is one of the best gennys ever built,) and I attributted it's great flavor to the chamber reducer...which is to some degree is true I think, but after vaping some micro gennys, and very small chambered gennys I think he may be right....it seems the very small chambers have a rich flavor but it's kind of a flavor that blends everything together smoothly.Whereas gennys with slightly larger chambers seem to give a rich flavor, but rather than a one deminsional flavor each note of the flavor stands out as well.I tend to favor the latter.
that's what makes gennys so endearing they all have an individual flavor to them.

According to my senses, you are pretty much spot on, Equality. Not so much better as simply different. I can certainly tell that some of my atties bring out different notes than others. Some to the point where the flavor changes drastically. Especially so with tiny chambers.

Can't give any scientific explanation, but I think I prefer my atties to allow for some swishing around so that air and vapor gets properly mixed. Too small of a chamber, or air intake and coil directly in line with mouth piece; vapor gets too moist for my liking. There is definitely such a thing as too big of a chamber, too. I'm looking at you, Aga T2.

Had to order Satburn clone even tho it looks like way too small of a chamber for my liking. And that's exactly what clones are for, to me. Trying stuff I wouldn't ordinarily try to get my hands on. Seems the guy Focalecig sent to fetch one in their warehouse has been missing in there for almost two weeks, tho. No idea when I'll get it.

Give the sat clone a fair chance. Watt.I was initially dissapointed, but that was because I was expecting it to act like something it wasn't.I think with certain flavors it works great the simpler flavors, but like you say the little bit bigger chamber,( not the thunderdrome chambers) that let the air move around bring out more notes which is great with more complex flavors...The sat clone for whatever reason is alot better than the micro mini I have.the best way I can describe it is the satburn clone gives a real creamy vape...the texture of the vape is creamy, but the flavors are as well..It's like when you make a sauce in cooking, if you add a little butter it soften the edges of the flavors and marries the flavors together which make for a delicious creamy unity. where as without the butter you get a sauce with all the edges bouncing off each other in all kinds of diffrent combinations.all these voices.alot of juxtapositions.

Will certainly give it a good go. If the chamber is too small for my ordinary vaping desires, I will simply coil it at a slightly higher resistance and use it for outdoors / stealthish purposes. A little less vapor production seems to ease off some of the moistness I'm not too happy about in some very-small chambered atties. Ultimately I could drill out the air holes... but that is more of a one-time last resort kind of deal if all else fails. More fun trying to make the most of it before crossing that river. :)

I drilled out one of the airholes to 1.02, but yeah I guess we have very similar tastes I found the micro mini to be to moist.and to hot..I wrapped the sat clone at .8
