anybody using pass-thru at home instead of batteries. 
All you need is a small car cig adapter + a bit of diy to fit inside a 18650/18500 setup (3ohms) and hooked to a 5V2A power supply(<$10 at SLT).
when you want it wireless just pull the adapter out and slot in your batteries.
For 2 battery VV 9V adapter seems to be working fine for me.
couldn't try on the lavatube as the inside is anodised.
Adding a fuse may give further protection.
