Only at work. Several of my coworkers vapes. We all started with basic eGo setups and one by one we all upgraded to mechanical mods (except for one who feels the odd man out still using his pen style, though I agreed to lend him one of my setups until he can get one himself. Other than that and my local B&M, I don't see many vapers. Even at bars where smoking is more common.

I see eGos all the time out an about, I haven't seen a mod in particular besides myself around though. Feels weird Lol, me and my brother both have SVD's and when we go out in public it's almost as if were in a group of sorts LOL. Everyones lookin at us vaping away and nobody seems to mind, but we do get some funny looks. I don't care what they think about it honestly because when i see someone smoking a stinky, i'll vape a ways away from them and some people come over an make small talk and some just don't care. Either way, Vape on!

Rarely see anyone using e cigarettes around here. Once in a great while an eGo or a blu. I thought using my ProVari or MVP in public would be odd, but no. I have no shame....used to chew in public as well. Don't think it gets much more shame-full than that. Well other than smoking a cigarette, because they stink up a fairly large perimeter ;)

I was at a gas station and a guy came inside and was vaping an innokin Cool Fire II...Not sure what topper he had on it though, some form of tank system. It was the first time I had seen someone using an eCig that wasn't pen style.

Innokin Cool Fire II - Black

Good grief !!

Styled to resemble a grenade, the Innokin Cool Fire II is a 18350 variable wattage personal vaporizer. This kit comes with one Innokin iClear 30B Bottom Coil tank with a 3ml capacity.

What genius at Innokin decided to make an ecig look like a grenade in public?

Vaping is starting to get around here also, We now have two places that are in driving distance from me that's the tobacco depot and gator vapor. I picked up my first ego from ebay before I even knew of these places. After digging around online I found out that the local tobacco depot started selling mods and pens, Thats where I got my halo triton. Never knew so many people around here vaped until I walked in there. No'one was buying the cigars or cigarettes everyone was buying e-juice.

Made me feel pretty good actually.

I was parked at our truck terminal and decided to go to the drivers lounge and make the switch from ss mesh to cotton and I brought my rebuilding bag in with me. I sat down at a table and got to work. I was mostly ignored but one driver asked "you're not building a bomb are you?" I chuckled because the way I had things spread out all over the table it sure looked that way. I explained what it was and he got very interested, he said that he and his wife talked about getting some ecigs. I told him that he needed to pass up the ones that look like cigs and stop at a Love's truck stop and get one off their ego type setups.

I got the same comment at a flying hook while recoiling my kayfun. And its nice to start seeing ego setups at the love's instead of just the "cheap" cigalikes.

This ...there are a ton of us vaping at work. Most still have basic eGo setups but a few of us have branched out to vv/vw and mechs. We are all learning together.

Love's has helped me convert a bunch of other drivers. It's nice to be able to tell them where they can get one easily and quickly. One of my buddies calls his a "fazer" and gets confused when I call it an eGo.

Vaping is pretty popular in Portland, OR. At least the more common setups. I never see mechs unless I go into a shop.

I carry a turtleship/kayfun. The response I usually get is "that's a big ... one." Then I'm like watch this and blow a cloud. Ooh that smells good what you got in there.

I don't go out much; but when I do, I make sure I'm holding either my MVP or ProVari (don't have any other) in my hand whether I'm vaping or not. I want people to SEE and become familiar with this device. I would dearly love for them to ask me what it is.

At Christmas time while shopping had a cashier ask me, and the next 10 min. was spent in explaining what it was (like a flashlight tube), with tank of juice and a little tiny heating coil right there. Explained PG & VG and what other stuff she could find them in (toothpaste, mouthwash, etc). Had 4 other women in line behind me.....not a peep, all were listening. The real kicker came when I told her I had smoked for 53 yrs and stopped in one day with this! Eyes grew very wide with that, and you could see some wheels turning. Even if she didn't smoke herself, she probably had someone close who did. Of course, I didn't vape in the store.....my hands were too busy grabbing Christmas gifts!

For those who are too young to have experienced a time when you could smoke anywhere, there was a certain etiquette at least for us wemins. :D You couldn't smoke while walking......especially on a sidewalk in town, no one smoked in department stores or any shops and no one smoked in grocery stores or churches. Can't think of any other places. Maybe someone here can add some. Don't know if there was a law against smoking in these places. Just know no one did. :|
