Greetings! The names Ivan. I have been lurking on this forum for about 2 months and decided to finally start show myself. I've been vaping for almost 2 years with great tasting juices but now I decided to make my own line of wonderful juices. So far this forum has been such a big help in my DIY quest to making my own line. I've been doing DIY for about a month but not religiously, for now just a hobby.
Currently I am working to get my feet wet with a simple mango juice. So here's my dilemma.
PG 70%
VG 30%
mango 13% ( PG base TFA)
EM 10% (PG base TFA)
1 day - 3 days steep
working with 3ml batch and not adding nicotine till I'm satisfied with my flavor
ive tried with mango flavored of 10-18% and EM with the same percentage range but this setup stood out the best.
so when I smell the juice I smell the mango, when I taste it while vaping it just tastes like a very very subtle cotton candy\ mango and I mean VERY SUBTLE. But when I smell it it smells very pleasant cotton candy with a hint of mango. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG! I've tried multiple combination( nearly 50 samples) but I can't get that mango to be potent :( HELP ECF! ive tried both inhaling exhaling nasally and orally still the same outcome.

Using the breaktru software.

Again, I am pleased to finally join this great forum

:p What is your mango flavor base? PG or water or something else. Of course there is a huge difference between smell and taste, you just not only smell the flavor but also taste the base of your smoke juice. If you eat mango you also taste fructoza, a kind of sugar in fruit ripening, this combination will make a featured of mango flavor. When you inhale is just normal, using oral but when you breath out just using nasal. By the way, did you shake your juice well?

Sorry for the lack of info! So I have been looking up the e juice section but still can't find what I'm looking for. My flavor are from TFA all PG base. For my EM I diluted 1/4 tsp into a 10mL PG base, and from that i only used 10%-18% with my juice experiments. I currently am using the breaktru software.

I have tried inhaling and exhaling orally and nasally and it is still the same outcome. I also VIGOROUSLY shake my juice not capping them and they steeped in a cool dark place where it can't be bothered.

Just stumbled on this. I don't think you have enough posts yet to read my blog. (If you see a line below my avatar that says Blog Entries 3, then I'm wrong and you can by clicking on that "3".)

Your OP sounds exactly like level 7. Or, in other words, too much flavoring. As odd as it sounds, too much flavoring can actually reduce the amount of flavoring you taste. It's one of the things that can make DIY so frustrating, unless you know about it before hand.

Get your post count up a bit and you'll be able to get to the blogs. There should be plenty of good information for anybody starting out with mixing their own juice in them.

Meanwhile, I'd suggest dropping down the EM drastically. Maybe dropping the Mango a bit too.

I wouldn't recommend letting the mix breathe. (Sit open as mango has enough bitter that it doesn't need the extra from oxidizing the nicotine.)

Steeping (letting a bottle sit capped away from sunlight) isn't really needed from most fruits, but if your next mix is close then it's my common practice to let it steep for a bit and try it later to make sure something won't change when I mix a larger batch.
