Say it ain't so MT. Baker

In my job I handle the escalation of credit disputes for a large world wide bank. Spoke with a customer yesterday who got into a bit of a situation with MT. Baker vapor. I guess they sent him a broken smok SID, he advised them it was broken, they called him an idiot, a fraud, and some other stuff. Now this is all hear say. MT. Baker is one of my favorite vendors and I would like to think this is all BS.

Has anyone ever had a vendor blow up on them for something like this? Just want to get an idea of what vendors to stay away from. Now this won't stop me from ordering from MT. Baker, I have never had an issue but I would rather not have to deal with something like this with another vendor.

Mt. Baker has a reputation for great customer service. My response to your story is that there is probably more to it than someone got sent something that was defective and Mt Baker called him a cheat and an idiot.

Personally, I don't care for Mt Baker's juice and haven't ordered from them in quite some time. I will say this: most vendors for vape gear require that defective merchandise be sent back before they can offer refunds, exchanges, etc... People new to vaping may be a little irked by this method, but it comes down to them being able to inspect the defective stuff and sending it back to the manufacturer, so they can get a refund.

Had a little dispute with Apollo. In don't wantit to come across as if iI don't like them in general (their labs are ten min from my house) but i ordered stuff from their sister site panda (which is sold by them ) picked it up physically from them. One item was messed up an they just stuck to their ridiculous return policy. This after I bought a lot of stuff from them (which was mostly okay). Very rigid. Well they saved a couple ofbucks but finally got me to the wwonderful world of online vapes - so in a way I am grateful

I've never used Mt. Baker, but if I was trying to make a cause for a credit dispute with a third party, I don't think I would be above doing a little bit of creative remembering.

I tried to find out as much as I could from the guy. He told me he had emails and what not from MBV and he is supposed to be faxing them to me, so I guess I will find out tomorrow. Probably BS either way. He was new to vaping so like you said not used to typical policies and probably being over dramatic.

We really get a little antsy with posts/threads like this as they generally turn into a supplier bash fest (not allowed) and they're not fair to the suppliers as they're not allowed to respond to allegations.

As such. Going to nip this in the bud and close this.
