Went into a shop that just opened up yesterday. I was asking dude if he'll ever sell provari's in his shop and he said that provari are produced in china and they just put their label on it. He said the provari is the same exact thing as the zmax, the same product he's selling. From the reviews I've been seeing about the provari, it's in a class of its own. If anyone could elaborate about this I would love to here about it. My next vv mod I was thinking about getting was a provari, but now this dudes comments have me wondering if I should.:(

You need to find a new vape store with someone who knows what they are talking about. Provari is made in the USA and not a clone and not made in china.
You were right to come here first before believing this person. I guess just because they work in a vape shop they are'nt always experts (or even vapors).

He is 150% full of S#$t. The ProVari has nothing in common with any chinese mod other than the 510 connection. The electronic chipset used in the ProVari is of much higher quality than those used in chinese mods.

The guy is lying to you to get you to spend money in his shop.

The ProVari is hands-down the most reliable, most consistent most durable, well-made PV on the market and ProVape has the best warranty and customer service on the market as well. Anyone who says different is either A. Lying, B. Lying and jealous, C. Ignorant or D. Ignorant and Jealous.

For the record, you will never see a new Provari being sold in a B&M (unless Provape decides to open one). Provape doesn't do reseller agreements - probably so that they can control the price ...but they'll say so that they can control the quality :?:.

I suppose it is possible, via an individual consignment arrangment, that you can see a used one - not sure there are any B&Ms outside of flea market-type businesses that do that, though - and the warranties aren't transferrable, so what you see is what you'll get.

This is not true. I can't remember which B&M it was, but there are definitely B&M stores that sell ProVari. Katherine Heigl (the celeb) bought her ProVari at a B&M.

There are 3 very reputable b&m's that I have been in personally in the DFW, TX area that are "authorized" Provari dealers/sellers (whatever they are called). Not sure how or why but they sell them or what kind of deal they have with Provape but I have had no problems out of mine and got warranty service with no questions asked.

First I would find out it the guy you were talking to was the owner. If not ask to see him tell him what his employee said. I'm willing to bet they work on commission or are very uninformed. Personally if I owned the place heads would roll. The kind of repeat business a vaping store gets must be huge (and needed to run any kind of business like it) it looks like they just lost a customer.

I concur. We have a few stores here that carry Provari's but they mark them up like crazy & you still have to figure in tax. Just get it online if you really want it. You'll likely only be waiting a handful of days to receive it.

I agree 100% about ordering online. I plan on ordering another provari soon ( i lost my Satin Black v2) and I'll be ordering a blemeshed v2 for $140 + price for 18650 extension cap

Provape does have a few resellers. The shop I volunteer at is a distributor. On the provape site it lists the stores it has authorized to sell.

I stand corrected!

B&M sell provari but make almost nothing on them.

ask him if its a zmax board wheres the VW setting?

made in america in wash state, sourcing 90%+ american parts, the board is made to military standards (not mil-spec) by former software and army guru's. comes with a homebrew regulation circuit called ACCUSET (TM) that is self calibrating and regulates voltage to the .001th of a volt accuracy and the PWM runs at 800 hertz not 33.3Hz like the china boards.

comes with a 1 year or 2 year 100% warranty against failure, and provape will answer emails asap. some of the best customer service on the planet, upgrades when available are a small fee not a new unit.
repars are always available in warranty or not. NO chinese maker offers anything like this sorry.
he would never see me again.

And you have just learned one of the first hard lessons of vaping, lots and lots of crumby B&Ms who are just out to make a buck and predates on new and uninformed vapors. You did the right thing and came here first. Do some research and reading as well as ask plenty of questions here. Next time you go to a B&M you will be that better armed. Don't get discouraged though, there are some great B&Ms out there, they just seem to be a little harder to find then the not so good ones.
