How's this one in the durable department?
Some have had problems with the threads in the 510 connector stripping out. It may be a materials/quality control problem or user error. The iStick has only been out for a few months so it remains to be seen how things will go down the road. I really like the two I have and I haven't had any thread problems (yet). I think it helps to keep the 510 to Ego adapter on it.

The MVP 2 has been around a lot longer and, for the most part, is very durable. Some have had problems with the center pin in the 510 connector getting pushed down too far but there is an easy repair using a o-ring.
As with anything mass produced, there have been reports of more serious problems involving early failure of the electronics but these are rare.

Anyone have a recommendation for a swivel drip tip for the mpt2? I like the chrome look but metal is too cold this time of year, so I'd like one in metal chrome and something plastic.
Goggle "knucklehead drip tip" or "delrin 510 knucklehead drip tip" there are many places that sell them.

ditto all, with the kangers tanks try taking some pulls without power to help wick more juice. I had a love/hate relationship with my manger evod tanks when I first started vaping. took a while to figure out that I chain vaped faster than they wicked. Sometimes I just needed to let it sit a few minutes before taking another hit.
you can help the wicking along faster by taking air pulls without power. Aspire nautilus tank I needed to take many air pulls, sometimes even closing off the air hole to get more juice into that coil.

I didn't realize that technique could factor in.

Also your juice may be thick and slow wicking...if you're using high VG juice try going higher on pg which is thinner and wicks easier in most coils.

Thanks for the tip. An air pull every now and then seems to help.

I'm mixing two juices.
60% Patriot 50/50 PG/VG (Goodejuice -either all PG, all VG, or 50/50)
40% Cowboy 80/20 PG/VG (Mt Pocono Vapes)

What's that gonna give me? 65/35-ish? I wouldn't think thickness is an issue, but I think I'm gonna get the patriot in all pg and raise the vg on the cowboy to get more pg. I like more warmth. This is my first attempt at replacing my fav Halo Torque56 (reportedly 70/30 PG/VG). Not too bad. They both need a good steeping before use. I don't like either of them by themselves.

I'd like to thank everyone again for their help and opinions. Replacing the stock 2.5 coils with 1.8 has made a huge difference. I've read a few more times since starting this thread how bad those stock coils are, and it's true. I was also having a little leakage but read somewhere to make sure connections are dry and having juice present when making a seal causes leaks. I found that to be true as well. With so many other things it's the opposite, so I wasn't cleaning off juice, thinking it would help it seal. No issues now. Just waiting on my 1300mAh Evod Twist and Kanger airflow control base to see how they do.
