Hey Reonauts!

I have been researching mods for the last couple of weeks and frankly was not considering getting into the bottom feeder / box mod world as I perceived them to be hassleful. But after reading through thousands enthusiastic of posts here at the ECF and the recommendations I received over at my thread here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/mods-discussion/253960-these-mods.html to go with the Reo, I decided to take the plunge. While I had thought I would do one last round of reading before I order to figure out what attys/ cartos / batteries / chargers to buy, I headed over to the Reosmods.com site to check out the colors. Knowing my current luck with the availability of vapes that I want to buy, I wanted to make sure if the Reo grand that i want is available. To my dismay, the all black one which I really wanted was out of stock! I am sure I saw it to be in stock a day or 2 back! So panicing, I quickly placed an order for the black and silver Reo grand :D

So Now I have purchased the Reo grand and still got to figure out the right attys / cartos for me. I have come across some helpful threads and am going to be reading up the next couple of days, but advice is sure welcome. About batteries, I think ill go with the AW IMR batteries. However, I prefer protected and regulated batteries, so wondering if the protected AW 18650s will work with the Grand.

I also have a little issue with the shipping address that I need double checked, so could anyone point me to an official representative of reosmods here on the ECF so that I could get in touch and clear things out?

Thanks!

Rob (aka redeyedancer) is the man in charge here. Shoot him a PM. Always had super fast responses from him.

As for your battery questions, yes the protected AW's will work but they compress the spring a great deal. So if you get a short and the spring collapses.... well it wont.
Rob does recommend the red AW's in his mods. Personally I never had any issues with them

I just read some of that thread.......We're a "cult" :) :) :)

The reo is the best purchase you will ever make. Period.

You will need batteries & charger and eventually backup ones. There is a thread in the sticky area about your first mod & what you will need. A lot of good information there.

I am a mostly a carto person but I think most use atties, I like the Boge 2.0 LR cartos.

Welcome to the REO cult :)

Hey Reonauts! Welcome DARCO!

You can always get a black door when they become available

So Now I have purchased the Reo grand and still got to figure out the right attys / cartos for me. I think they will work but the AW IMR 18650 is the recommended battery because it uses safe chemistry technology and dispenses its energy consistently for one great vape after another :)

I also have a little issue with the shipping address that I need double checked, so could anyone point me to an official representative of reosmods here on the ECF so that I could get in touch and clear things out?

Please contact Rhapsodies Fire (she is the REOSMODS supplier associate and moderator of our great thread) or redeyedancer - they're fabulous at getting back to you in good time

Thanks!

Congratulations and enjoy your Grand in Good Health

Oh, and about atties, most here prefer the LR 306, and many of us are enjoying the HH357 from Avidvaper.
As for cartos - many enjoy the boge brand.

WELCOME TO THE TEAM!!

Hope you enjoy it as much as the rest of us. The two people that you want to get a hold of is Rhapsodie Fire or Redeyedancer. They would be the two that are in charge of things here.

It's recommended that you get the AW IMR 18650's since they work the best for the REO's. They are safe chemistry and so, you don't have to worry to much about it. The AW IC's that you wanna get can work but, they drop off in power much faster compared to the IMR's. Also, they will strain the spring on the mod which will prevent it from collapsing in ace there is a problem that occurs.

For cartos, I would suggest either Boge LR 2 ohms or Resurrectors to begin with. They perform great and have a good reputation on this forum. Here's a link for those:

Crystal Clear Vaping

*Awesome deals + Free shipping etc. with the 15 carto deals.

Atties I would suggest to start out with 1.8 ohm atties since you still get some heat and flavor. 1.5's are my favorite but, might not be the best choice when you learn how to squonk. IKV and Cisco are my favorite vendors for atomizers. No primer and good performance. Although IKV atties usually have a tighter draw. ESPECIALLY the i06's. Not a fan of those honestly:

Atomizers - IkenVape Store
Atomizers - Avid Vaper

Hope that helps

Since I have no clue about battery sales in India, I'm going to suggest you send an e-mail to awwan01 AT yahoo.com (AT = @)

Inquire about 2000 mAh AW IMR 18650 batteries and a charger if you don't already have one. They have the WF-139 and maybe other models too. I would recommend you buy four batteries and use all four in a rotation. Their prices and shipping charges are very reasonable.

Welcome Darco. Cartos....Boge 2.0 and Resurrectors are my favs and now the Universal hybrid BF atty and the duel coil atty are now my fav attys, both from Clouds of Vapor. The protected 18650 batts will work but if the master says AW IMR who's to argue. Those are what the Reos were made for. The safety protected is in the spring. If you have any problems or questions there are a lot of experienced people right here to help you out.

I read that, I love the light draw on my HH, but they just don't produce enough vapor for me (it's hard when you are coming from ego mega DCCs). Tight draw was the one thing that was bothering me about the reviews for these, I hope that it works out though...

OMG! This is the warmest welcome I have ever had to any cult oops i mean forum! I have been away from the forums for a few hours due to workload and I was floored to see the number of welcomes and helpful tips here. I am already sure I am going to love the Reo and cant wait to give up the ego tanks. I am sure I have a lot of questions and have no doubt that you all will help out, but before I start blabbering out all my questions, I will read up on some of the content in this subforum.

About the Attys, I am getting my usual supplies from Healthcabin.com as shipping from China to India is cheaper compared to getting stuff from the US. From what I see, HC has a bigger stock of cartos than attys. Now I have only tried 2 types of cartos and didnt like them too much (My review of my first purchases here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-my-first-big-purchase-egot-cartos-juice.html ) I have come across a lot of users here at the ECF who swear by cartos so maybe I need to give them a second shot. Though I have a feeling I will be liking attys more than the cartos. I have ordered 1 of each of whatever atty / carto was available at reosmods.com and will give them a try too. But in the long run, I really need to freeze on one type / brand of cartos / attys so that I can order them in bulk and save on shipping.

For batteries, I will most certainly get the AW IMRs since they have been recommended by all of you. I just need to find them in a shop that has those along with some 16350s (for a GG stealth that I ordered) and the best possible charger that charges both types of batteries. Again, getting all of them from a single store reduces my shipping costs a lot.

Thanks for the tip about getting extra springs, I PMed Rob asking if I could add those in my order. I had assumed that the bottle would be the only part that might need replacing often, and wanted to order them, but the 6ml ones are out of stock.

Thanks again for all the helpful input. I have reduced my smoking from 20 cigs a day to 2 using the ego, but keep getting frustrated with its leaking tanks and attys. I hope to quit completely once I get the Reo grand. I expect the Reo to become my all day vape that takes away the hassle from vaping.

Now off to reading about sqwonking and other techniques :)

I'm going to suggest again you send this dealer an e-mail. You can order batteries and a charger directly from China in the same way you're getting other supplies through Health Cabin. :)

Congratulations and welcome to REOvil!! Like you, when I first started on my vaping journey I never thought I would go the box mod route. Then I posted that I was ready for the "next" step and was tired of fiddling with leaking tanks and constantly having juice everywhere. Thankfully a few reonauts came to the rescue and recommended a REO. My REO's have given me a hassle free vape that I enjoy more than I ever enjoyed analogs.
Cartos aren't my thing either, and bottom feeding Reo's make atty's sing. LR 306's are my favorites, but I keep one LR 510 going so I can enjoy a very special Trippy Tip.
Again, WELCOME!!
