sb not hitting

ok so ive had my sb about 2 weeks or so. just this morning i noticed it doesnt work sometimes. carto isnt even firing. then i unscrew it a little and screw it back together and it works just fine. i cleaned all the contacts so im not sure whats going on. any advice?

Check and make sure your contacts aren't a: Pushed down on the SB, or b: pushed up in the atty\carto.

That's what it sounds like to me. Sometimes you can tap a atty\carto threads down on a hard surface a couple of times, to get it to come out a bit. Most of the time though, a simple tool( a paper clip) can be used to pull the contact out a bit. Just be sure and pull straight out. Don't twist it( a little twisting won't kill it, just be careful). kk i tried that now lets see if it happens again. it was an intermittent problem just happend like every 6 or so hits it just wouldnt work at all. then id unscrew the body of it screw it back together and it would work perfect

I don't have a SB. Is it mechanical? Or does it have a regular switch? The switch could be going bad. Or, the battery contacts may be getting dirty. It's not uncommon for a bit of carbon, or ejuice to muck up contact points. Even inside of a sealed unit.

The switch isnt mechanical and its only 2 weeks old so i hope thats not it. And ya i cleaned everything thats the first thing i did. Im at work now so i havent vaped it enough to know if the problems still there like i said it was intermittent

I have been using the same SB for well over a year exclusively with cartomizers. Cartomizers are cheap; sometimes I get one and the contact between the SB and carto is not quite right (maybe one out of 40). Try a new carto, if that does not work I have no clue; my SB fires every time except on rare occasion with a “bad” cartomizer.

Its only done it twice since the post so its not really a huge deal. I did tape it on a hard surface thinking the contact was pushed down and it has seemed to help. Now with the Sig if anyone can tell me how to get one id love it or an altsmoke one cuz they are my go to for all hardware now. Sb with lr yetis is the best vape Ive ever had. Dont plan on changing anytime soon

K, was thinking you may have been using CR123, they have a tendacy to trip. If you have any more toubles let us know. Submiting a ticket on altsmoke.com can be quicker if you need repair done to it The switches I use in the SB are the best on the market in my opinion. We have less than a 2% failure rate, but a 5 o'clock Friday switch can still get in. Mechanical agitation will usually resolve a "funky" switch.

Thanks alot. If i have any more probs ill submit a ticket but it hasn't happend for awhile. I love everything about this sb. Amazing quality. Ill be using it with my yetis for a very long time atleast till i get a omega or u guys come out with a vv. Ive been looking at the omega but funds are short so its the sb all the way
