So here's a little update. The battery indicator did finally drop to empty but it did so only just before the battery reached 3.2 volts. From a post on Reddit I've learned the dna 40 isn't reporting the voltage but it's guestimating how many puffs the user has left before the battery reaches 3.2 volts. I just want to know who the idiot is who thought this a good way of doing things?

For anybody interested in the Epetite, vapordna finally announced a Labor Day sale...
Save $10 Off Over $75, Use Promo Code "SEP10", $20 Off Over $120, Use Promo Code "SEP20"! 2 Days Only!
So, add a unicorn bottle or some such to the epetite and save $20. It's normally excluded from %-off codes, so this is the only way to get a deal for the time being.

Hello there! I'm interested in getting into the temp control mods and have been thinking about starting with a mod that's not so expensive and I have a question about the vaporshark dna 30 just wondered if it's a worthwhile purchase since they now come with no warranty?

The DNA30 chipo does not have temperature limiting, it is a straight variable wattage device. I hear good things about this sbody macro (DNA40) though I use Vaporshark rDNA40's myself.

So I'm just getting around to playing with temperature control and coincidentally subohm vaping... not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if this is working as intended.
Dual coil ni200 10 wraps @ .14 ohms on authentic Aqua v2.
TC @430f, watts @16.
Atomizer gets very hot, but temperature doesn't register most of the time and when it does register it stays around 200f or lower. Does temperature just not display when you're under a certain temperature? Why is the atomizer so hot when the coil is registering so low?
You're supposed to lock the atomizer before firing, right?

I'm looking at this or VS dna30 for my stealth mod for work/travel. With the VS 30 only $47 right now, I'm trying to justify the cost difference. Conflicted ... Any input from you all?

I don't have a SBody but I do have a VS DNA30, DNA40, rDNA40 and DNA200. I really do like VS's mods but their site seems to have some cc security issues we've been discussing on the VaporShark DNA200 thread. I had to cancel my cc twice due to fraudulent charges shortly after I bought my DNA40 and DNA200.

The DNA30 is a great little device but battery life might be an issue for some. I rarely use mine now and the DNA40 is my stealthly go-to mod.

I haven't seen the DNA40 in person yet. My only references are DNA30 & rDNA40.

I think the battery life is fine. I have a USB at my desk and carry portable battery charger in my bag to work and for travel.

It seems like the DNA30 might be the best route given the $47 price point - unless the DNA40 is as small. Thanks for the help

The DNA40 is slightly wider and thicker than the DNA30. It has a LG 18650 2500mah battery hardwired in it. It also has zip charging so it charges in about an hour like the DNA30 with less than 1/2 the capacity.

Here's a pic of my VS collection (DNA200, rDNA40, DNA40, DNA30)
