Ok guys. Found this guy selling stuff online. I said Cod, he say ok. Later say cannot make it. Then say post to me. I said no I don't deal that way. He insist he got no time to cod. Fine. Took a gamble. After that Mia 2 days. Finally responds to my messages. Say hisham call him. Ask him pay fine.1.2k. Says I should cough up half. Say if go court will be double fine. Keep repeating they got my address. But don't have his. But then how they got number to call him? Sounds very smelly. Opinions? Yes I know I'm silly to trust. Don't scold anymore k?

the more i analyze, the more i feel is scammer. sighs. expensive lesson.

main question is, Hisham don't operate this way right?

eg, confiscate mail, call mailer, impose fine, make appointment, threaten that if go court will be double fine.

btw the fella now threatening me. say i play him etc. pfft. ignoring him.

If you remember previously some guy were selling stuff online, none of the buyers got charged. Only got called up for interviews to get more info to charge that guy.

Alright. This has been said before but guys, pls pls pls dont do deposits or postage or whatever except for cod. Unless hes a trusted supplier whom you know, then its ok. If not, then dont expect to meet this guys or even a reply from him/her after transferring him money for so called deposits.
I totally forgot about the no deposit rule in my excitement to get my gear. this is the price to pay lor. please learn from this goondu's mistake. and take the advice seriously. lucky for me the amount lost while not small, is not so big also.

If you are still scared of the scammer's threat, look at it this way.

Are you a distributor? No. But your scammer is one.
Do you import your gear? No. But your scammer did.
Do you sell your gear? No. But your scammer tried to sell.

So looking at the three points above, who is going to kena more? You or the scammer? You will just be let off with one small warning IF they bother to send you a letter. The scammer on the other hand, if you ever report him to the police, he will kena under the new e-cig rule plus for threatening you.
