Scams and/or Malicious sites thread.

I’m just throwing an idea so Admins and mods could help newbies or people searching for information.
As we know, internet could be a wonderful place or just simply the worst nightmare. The latest is completely true when we don’t know much of a product and we want to research or buy it.
Scammer are getting better by the day, and bad quality, overpriced items and tactics such as bait and switch are harder to notice.

I received an infraction last night for posting about one of those places, which turned to be a bait and switch scam where the “news page” talked about a story of a journalist who quit smoking with an e-cig and she said where she got her product “because they offered a free trial no strings attached” which at close look is not true and the product is overpriced.
The site looks legit, even with comments…
Funny thing, the offer expires the next day… so as yesterday, today was the last day and for today, tomorrow is the last day…

Sometimes even comments and ratings are misleading; so, many people when researching find this site and it could be a good idea to have a tread (only controlled by Admins/Mods) where all this sites are exposed so forum members and people researching could know about those scams.

I work with a woman who got one of the "free" e cigs they advertise on the radio. the ecig is free but she has had to buy the cartridges.. Like tons of them too. the e-cig itself looks like one of the cheap ones from DX..

It is not only about free trials. It's about all kind of scams and leting people know where they are.

There's no need to create a "battle" but listing them as "read the fine print" websites could alert people.
