Hi all justed wanted to say "hi" :)

After 28 yrs of smoking (last 3 have been roll-ups) and loads of failed attempts at quitting, I've taken the plunge with e-cigs as I realised it wasn't just the nicotine craving that was the problem for me, but also the whole habit and what to do with my hands...sure you get the drift.
After lots of research I got a starter PCC kit from "Jac Vapour" which I love and have to say I've had no notion for a real ciggie in 11 days and for the 1st time I feel positive about staying off them. I think in my head I haven't really stopped smoking, just switched to a healthier alternative....anyone else think that?
My only issue is the flavours which aren't very realistic but ok...I like the "American Reds" but not so much the "Virginia" and "tobacco" and have 2 full V3 carts. The website shows how to re-fill carts but not how to get rid of other flavours first, is there a way to do this or do you have to use blank carts???
Been looking for any threads on this but lots of info on this forum, suppose it'll take time to find my way around!!!:)

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your decision to give up analogs. At 11 days youre probably already feeling loads better and breathing easier.

I feel the same way you do about switching to a healthier alternative. A lot of people call cigarettes analogs on here because weve evolved beyond cigarettes. I just posted in another thread that its kinda sad that smokers only have a few bare handfuls of choice in their flavors while we get literally thousands without all of the carcinogens.

The easiest way to clean cartos is to remove the silicone cap and to boil them in distilled water for 30 minutes.Blow them out really well and lay them on a sunny windowsill to dry for 24 hours and you should be good to go.

Hope that helps and welcome once again to one of the nicest and most informative forums you'll ever find.

Welcome Linz, and 'hoots' from a fellow Scot :)

Glad you're positive about your progress so far...having tried all manner of quitting methods before, vaping just seems to work effortlessly!

As zapped says, check out some of the other flavours. I loved my Marlboro reds, and thought I'd need to use a juice that was similar, but my favourites at the moment are definitely Toffee Popcorn, and Black Cat (kinda vanilla thing). Well worth getting yourself a sample pack from one of the vendors. If you have a hunt around, there's a list of vendor discount codes on here too. I use Vape Escape mostly myself.

Lol well I do now.Funny no matter how much the world evolves some of us still think locally. If your in a pinch to dry one you can also kind of hang it on a pen and hit it with a hair dryer on high heat. Baking them in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes might also work but dont quote me on that.
