Screen showing duration of firing even though power is locked

Hi...just wanna ask something about this pod...is it considered normal when the time period of firing section at the screen shows somewhat duration of 'firing' even when the firing button is locked? This happens only when the screen is off. Otherwise the pod is functioning well. Thank you

Welcome to ECF, Apiss_99. Sounds like maybe a firmware bug. Could be something important. Does the thing actually fire when it's locked? I sorta assume it's not due to the rest of your post, but contact the maker/manufacturer of that pod and see what they have to say.

I did contact them but no response whatsoever. smok somehow did not release any firmware update for rpm80. The pod operates well until now though.
