Well, just placed my order for the new Screwdriver MKII from TW! I'm looking forward to this. I took advantage of the 15% off....looks great but I've never owned or experienced the original. Anyone have any comments?

While the new MKII does look a lot nicer than the original (slick new packaging too), it is still way overpriced considering you can buy other high performance PV's that equal this for less. And of course some that excel beyond the SD for about the same price as well.
Not saying they don't work well, don't get me wrong... but there is a world of great options out there. I hope you did your research to know that this was the best device for you. If you did, and it is the best fit for you... enjoy it! There are tons of satisfied SD customers out there.
As you grow to buy other devices (and most likely, you will), be sure to check out the Silver Bullet, Protege, Super-T1 and the GG series. Lotsa options out there. Enjoy.

No one can argue your logic there Mike, but there are some mods in stock right now through some vendors, some are shipping within days on others. Plus it depends on where the OP is from. Shipping from the UK might take as long....
yay!! just seen the screwdriver mkII on TW uk site got to say it looks awsome, nicely boxed, instruction booklet and WOW! what a shine. I'm sure it will be as good as the original. going to buy one.....and some shades aswell

This is the whole reason I committed to getting a silver bullet on pre-order. I could see it being impossible to get one later. For the record, the SB is absolutely outstanding. Pure 6v pleasure, 24hrs a day

all of the above were/are in short demand and I scoured the threads for suppliers...after about a month of searching over reviews I thought, with the 15% off from TW(UK), I'd give the Screwdriver(MKII) a try.
Really, I'm simply looking for a quality smoke with better battery life than the convention. I do own the 901, 801, m401(dragon), 510, have the PS USB PT on the way but I'm hoping the SD MKII will be the portable solution to rule them all. Though, the price is high, I'm willing to dive in for the quality of a good device and this one was 10 months in the design phase so I figure it's gonna be good.

Ive been looking at the SD but hard to get my hands on one I would like to purchase from USA as this is where I live
is that button different? i like the new hole location for strap...i have to go 2 months not buying anything e-cig or e-cig related...and today got email that the SD mkll is at TW`s american web site.
I read at TW that it will be 14 days before they are listed in the US. I was hopping they would of been cheaper seeing that they are having them produced now.
I may have got one if the device was available as just that ie. just the device. But I don't wanna pay a ton for the whole kit as I already have the batteries and stuff. Pity really. Why can't they be sold as just the individual item, rather than the whole kit? Just like the SB.
very pretty and yet very costly for 3.7v at an optimistic yet unlikely 900mah. but with that said, the chrome is gorgeous, but maybe not enough to counter the apparently unchanged, gi-normous, protruding plastic button that's begging to break off.

I have 2 screw drivers, one with a extra sleeve so that I can go 6v with. It is a nice unit but I would not get an mk. I see no point. I would rather get the new mako from smokejuice.
