Does any supplier in the U.S. currently sell the Screwdriver? I'm becoming quite intrigued by it as I would love the longer battery life. I would probably use in primarily during my commute to & from work provided the cops not think I was up to anything illeagle :sneaky:. Not sure how my co-workers would react to the looks of it although I think it's quite cool looking.

Actually the Screwdriver is no larger than a 901. I've talked to several cops about it and they said it never crossed their minds that it might be a crack pipe. In fact they asked me how they could get one. It's one of the very best PV's. 7-8 hours of battery life, great throat hit and batteries that cost $2 instead of $20. If you want to get a similar functioning device in the US, I would pre-order the Prodigy from puresmoker.com or the LV from Zi Moshi. The versitility of the Prodidgy is going to be a big advantage due to being able to use it with about 6 different atomizers. Here is a picture of the SD along with more traditional PV's:

WV2Win just one question. Are you using the original batteries?? I picked up a screwdriver today. Smoked it just like I do my LV. The battery in the LV lasted 12 hours. The screwdriver was deader than a doornail in 4.

The difference is the LV battery is about 2400 maH and the SD battery is 800 maH. Thus the LV battery will last 3 times as long as the SD with equivalent usage. My SD batt will last 7-8 hours, but I find that performance does drop off after about 5 because of my heavy usage. Switch after 4-6 hours works best for me..........

I use both the original and 1000mAh ones I bought on ebay. I consistently get 6-7 hours from them. I rotate them, so I really don't keep track of which one's are from trog and which ones I bought. I have actually gotten 8 hours out of them but I usually notice some let up in performance around the 6 - 7 hour mark. I'm sure it also comes down to how much you vape.

Not my set. I just copied the picture to give the OP an idea of what the SD looked like in comparison to other makes. It's Elendil's great collection. :)

Hah..........nope all my money is tied up in juice..........

All I need is my SD and my LV and Stick are on the way...............

Taken off the prodigy site:

All parts (Minus the Atomizer) were designed, manufactured, and tested here in the United States of America

So essentially you still have to get atties which are all made in China anyway and as we all know, not all atomizers were created equally. :)

That's a good point. I know Steve is working on his own atomizer. It will be interesting to see how that comes along.:)

Hey, El, how is the physical size comparison between the LV and the SD? And does the LV seem more or less as sturdy as the SD?

Don't have the LV yet,(Ted is running behind, he had a death in the family and then he has been sick) I know the dimensions are on his site, and if I remember is it both longer and wider(due to LED placement) than the SD. It is just so cool looking that I have to have one, if for no other reason than so show off.

I think my SD is the best, but if the Stick lives up to the hype, I could see it being my main vape........Even if the Prodigy is all that is advertised, I don't see how someone would go for it vs the stick.

I think the versitility of the Prodigy and the fact that it is in the US and possibly will be more readily available is what attracted me. Your saying that if the stick performs as well as say the SD or Prodigy, you like the looks of the Stick better? It is very cool looking.
