New update on my old thread: I paid 700 cdn for the import fees on feb 14th and was told they would import the box from hk to china and reship the order in 4 days .

Max also told me that customs would destroy the order if i did not pay in 48 hours, And was told it would take 3 months to get a copy of the customs bill

Wow its the never ending money pit throw $200 more into the fire or walk away

$1400 order Plus 700 Plus $$$$$$$$$

I think its time to walk away and let these scammers enjoy my money

it takes us around 400 USD and it was still waitting the news .
we asked around 4 different agent for this package trying to import successed
currently the real suitation is : money paid them still waitting .and this fees
they will never refund us .even it failed .
3, you keep asking me update , i find an new agent they said
can be done within 1 day . the cost will be around another 400 USD .
So here is our Plan , for the extral fees, you pay : half 200 USD .
and we have to also take care of the reshipping fees by EMS

How can a import company screw you out 400 is there not a manager you can call .
No i am not paying any more money when you last told me 4 days it would be reshipped after i payed 700 canadian dollors for the import fees and reshipping . I will wait untill you get this resolved.

We made a small order from Max in December and tried one of there new vv mods with lithium battery's, a small order $1400 and asked them to use a different name so there was no issue with our customs. They decided to write (No Nicotine ) red flagging the order , then customs rejected it stating the battery,s where illegal to enter canada. What ever pay so we have to pay shipping and have it reshipped i thought . There sales person max kept asking me to have customs destroy the order as the duty in china would be in the thousands of dollars.


I do not know if any of you guys have ever been stuck with china import fees or ever been warned about them as i never have

Max is telling you the truth . if the DHL package was rejected and ship back there will cost
highly extral fees, this is not just happened in Only you or Only our company . you can ask
around from all your other china suppliers. Like what will happened if DHL package was rejected ?


regarding the package . if you wanna us resent then you have to pay the bill . because we wont resposible or pay
for your local custom issues .we were did everything we can try to help to get out the package .
let me give you an list .


The shipping back fees, by DHL was 169 USD .
and the DHL not exactly DHl is our Local custom fees will cost around 500 USD .
and reship fees was another 169 USD .
so the totally cost for reship this package will be 838 USD.

I think Max didnt make this clear enough since Max didnt charge you the 169USD shipping back fees .


and about replace the kits to Vision clearomizers, sorry we cant do that . becasue the stuffs we sold you has No quality
problems , and this is an deal , an formal business .


let me get it simple . when you paid the bill we will ship back the package at what any shipping company you liked .

What method did you use to pay them? Sounds like you need to a do a chargeback or paypal dispute. Looks like a scam to me.

We deal with this company all the time - they also supply a number of US companies. They are definately NOT scammers.

But they're also not dealing with you very well or above board - and I'm really sorry to see this and sorry you're having all this issues. You don't deserve that at all!

Best step forward - knowing these people - negotiate. They know they've soaked you previously on shipping (they always do) - so negotiate a minimal EMS reship - as close to free as possible - and talk nicely to them until you have the products in your hands. After that - you may just want to tell them to take a flying leap.

Also - in complete agreement here - you shouldn't have to pay for them to bribe their officials. That's their cost. In the same way that rejected Customs is your cost

Also - with DHL - if you have an import number (call revenue Canada and have them add this to your business number - it's easy and painless) - you can contact a brokerage agency and have them clear the package for you.

We have the Canadian Customs clearance guidelines for ecig products that I can send you as well - always helpful when approaching a broker (DHL won't broker ecigs in Canada). So if this happens in the future with another company - you'll have a way forward without the package going back through the slow and corrupt Chinese Customs.

Meanwhile - seriously - for Canadian orders - EMS is the only reliable way. IF something doesn't clear - you can have it reshipped without issues. Not sure why Chinese customs strangles DHL incoming - but they do. Maybe DHL needs to grease a few more palms....

Paid western union because it was a small order and the fees are alot lower , I guess all future orders will be through gold suppliers on Alibaba,

The loss of a small order and cash sucks but i am more ...... at how unprofessional there company is. I guess when they are paid in full its my problem and they do not care if they loose a customer or there money. I am only venting on here to give every one the heads up to watch these scammers.

It really makes me feel bad that Max is so exhausted loosing my money .

Kat go through your old pi and check the shipping charges , I went through them and caught them charging double for shipping on all my past orders , Max said his Boss marked up the shipping , this messed up order went from 250 to 156 after i confronted them on the issue

I've been through the shipping charges so many times. We've been overcharged shipping by Visions, Bogetech, Bauway, Royal Smokers, whatever company it was that had the TREX..... the list goes on. The only company in China that has never overcharged us on shipping is health cabin. Go figure that right?

At some point in the near future - some of those companies are going to have to get with the western program. Business is not run in the rest of the world by ducking authorities and paying bribes and under the table deals. If China wants their industry to be approved and accepted in the rest of the world - there will have to be changes. Proper receipts and proper charges on proper invoices with proper supporting documentation.

I do agree with you - this kind of crap is just plain wrong.

The funny/sad part - if one of those companies had any business sense at all - they would set things up totally above board. Everyone would buy from them.....

Not really sure what your deal with the companies is but mine usually is that they deal with everything on their side of the border and I will with mine. On another note I've also noticed vast differences in shipping cost, it ranges from 10-30% of the cost of the items. It the end i think it comes down to how much the items cost you and how much they weight and how much volume they take. I'll probably need to do some calculations to see exactly what my fees are, but they generally range from 10-12$ a kg volume or weight whichever is higher.

Big balls to ask for a apology for telling the truth , I am more ...... off about the Principe of being called a liar than the loss of a small order. I know that they are a re branding reseller as i have ordered the original visions from green sound and the product is the same but 25 % less cost and 1/2 the shipping cost.

I had a similar issue with our friend Max! The difference was that I received my order, it was junk but none the less I received it.
On 1/1/12, I sent payment for the Vision Stones, after a great deal of him convincing me that they are the best quality in China.
Order shipped 1/17 and "man" a was I lucky, I got V2! Received my order 1/27 only to find that they leaked like a running faucet!
I emailed max even though he was on his Chinese New Year Holiday, he told me that I was the first to have bad feedback from a 5000 piece lot. Even gave the names of the other vendors that I could ask. Obviously, he didn't believe me but after 5 tanks, the results were the same!
On 2/3, he admitted that there were issues and he'd replace with my next order. I immediately pulled them from the website and told him that this was unacceptable.
On 2/7 he said V3 was in testing and I'd be the first to hear when it was ready. (ya right)
On 3/8 he told me to return the defective product and needless to say, I wasn't the first to know when the V3's were ready. In fact he never mentioned it again until I pressed for his managers email to discuss it with him.
He wanted to give me a discount on future items rather than replace the leaking tanks, after all, the other vendors are only reporting 10% as defective. So, I would need to knowingly sell crap to get my discount?? Sorry, not me!
Long story short...I sent the package on 3/18, he claimed he hadn't received it until 4/12 but of course, it cost him several hundred dollars to get it. (sound familiar)
Any who....he emailed me today and after the third time of asking exactly what he is shipping to me, he finally answered...
"The one you order Stone .
and we fixed .
shipping cost by DHL cost around 200 USD .
fix fees around 400 USD ."

Go figure, they fixed the crap that I sent them! LOL So, now I get to try and convince my customers that these are "good" V2's. What a joke! But hey, they're on their way.

Why do we all put up with this extremely poor and unacceptable customer service? I can't figure it out. Isn't there something we can all do?

On another note, a VERY reputable company told me that they wouldn't replace a junk battery because I had it too long. Thing was, word was already out that they had problems and they didn't sell well. The ones I sold came back in a bag filled with pieces. This is not just a no-name company I'm talking about here. I have done business with them for a year and thought the guarantee their products. I was WRONG! Couldn't believe it from these guys. Oh ya, he even admitted that the batteries were bad. I'm sure he knew it when he sold them to me also.

Ok, I'm done venting now...thanks for listening. Won't do business with either company! I may be a small fish in a sea of whales but make room, I'm going to be a whale someday!

One reason not to be the first to market with a new product. So you lose a few sales, but those sales could hurt your reputation as a vendor. Been there, done that. I got the first translucent juice carts made and they would not fit just any 510. Some were loose and some were tight. None of which fit properly. Had to give store credit to quite a few customers.

I now let somebody else be the guinea pig. And after they are perfected (maybe a bad choice of words) then I will purchase them.

I guess all we can do is vent on here and try warn fellow suppliers. We did finally get our order after being called a liar and cheap hundreds of times. Max only made a effort after we posted on here and on a public forum. We ordered before xmass and received the order 3 weeks ago. I guess they broke away from the real company and are on there own now. The lesson I learned from all of this is stick to alibaba gold suppliers .

I would love to see pics of max's imaginary factory as i would bet money they only are a trading company .

Maxx is the guy that got fired from Bauway for selling knock off Cisco attys to the world (Italy, France, Australia) He then started trading under another name and robbed enough people (apparently) to start his own trading company... Those that read in another forum wmay recognize the phrase, "You *** Rocks!", which was initially coined for one of his ill spelling spam threads that he was famous for...
The Vision Crystal Cartomizers (his name sake ironically) is made in another factory...I have film of it. Not rumor .... I have spoke to 3 of his bigger customers this week and will continue to expose him... Like I said if anyone wants a little more info, feel free to email me and put your phone number in the email (if you want) and you may get a call with an earful. I also have some proprietary info that has been confirmed by one supplier which I will respectfully, protect and give that supplier the option to share here or whatever.
This is one of things that could be hindered by having a trade org like Hoog is talking about in another thread...We would have leverage in buying, manufacturer knowledge, and pwoer to fight the patents (especially the silly VV ones!) by staying in touch and being civil to one another...
