Yes, if you're getting that it's shorting.

Once the run for mine and Fenders co-op is done my machinist will decide if he will do smaller runs based on how much setup it took to run them. It will cost a little more for him to run small quantities but if he decides it's not too much work anybody could get together 20 or more orders and send it to him. If he agrees to do this I will send any interested party contact info for his machine shop. He specializes in smaller jobs but unless we have enough demand to keep him busy his current regular customers always have priority.

Once I have my SGV3 I wont have any real interest in doing another co-op myself is it is way more work than I thought it would be. =]

Coops are a lot of work. Your idea of including all needed parts while good really upped your workload on it. I really think in the long run it will be better for modders to get their own parts supply chain running and have the coop for machined or difficult parts only.

Yea, especially for being the first time building something with such small intricate parts - you're going to need at least a couple extras Plus to rebuild and rebuild again

Just in case anyone, like me, screwed up any of their nails they are 1/2" 19ga Wire Nails as I found in Lowes:

Alrighty, so I popped to the nearest ACE to pickup the M1.6 nuts and they only had them in zinc, no stainless steel? I showed him the pic of the drawers and he said that is a different brand.

They were 45c each and super tiny, so I bought 6 just in case. I guess they only have to clasp the wire.

Will these do, they are Zinc M1.6 nuts?

The ones in the second drawer in the pic were just regular steel. I think that the zinc ones are fine though someone is bound to say they will kill you if they use them.

is there anyone in here that was able to just put the gen3 together ,season it and start vapeing on it ?been tryin to get mine going good for a couple of days now. and still harsh, and not too much build-up on the coil yet

From my welding and cutting torch days, Yes burning zinc will rip you a new one. whether the heat from a coil is enough to burn it is doubtful.

No!

The nails are steel.

You couldn't solder to them if they were SS.
