Just received two scubagenv3 full size units. What are the recommended washers on these? The kits I got contain the isolators, ungodly small springs, some nails, tubing and body components.

So I'm guessing I need to get the 510 connector, washers, wire, and?

Which washers are you referring to? The silicone O-Rings or the washers used with the spring/nail for the connectors? Got a pic of what you have in the kit you received?

The 510 connector used comes from a Clearomizer. Not sure if anyone has a link to the specific one used, been a while since I put mine together.

All of the items. I have main body, top cap, ptfe isolators, nails, o-rings, tubing, and springs. Need a list of the rest and locations to buy/acquire. I'm guessing I need the connector washers and whatever materials I need to connect the nails to body. What type of glue is used to put everything together? All help will be greatly appreciated.

Here's the original parts bag...yes I still have some units I never assembled lol. I believe the metal piece on the top is called a spring pin? That's what you use to press fit your nails into the upper unit. There is no glue required. These were not included in every kit, someone had donated them to the co-op.

On my main kit I decided to use the spring method for the negative terminal only. I used some tethlon tubing I had laying around from top feeder mods pressed into a BIC tube to insulate an 0-80 stud. I used this with washers and nuts for my positive terminal. Worked great for the 6 months or so I've been using it.

I think pretty much everything can be bought at McMaster Carr. Great site for modding :) I recommend the red O-rings mentioned in the first post. The o-rings that came with the kit were too large and had to be modified for use. The black O-rings mentioned in that thread from McMaster work but are tight. Red O-rings fit nearly perfect, if anything a small tad loose.

Hey rusalka, glad they got there in good shape, I hope. The nuts I used I got from Ace hardware. I bought and used the last few that they had or I would have sent you some. I thought everyone had some old ce2's laying around lol. If you don't have or can't find any, I'll send you a couple. These SGv3's are from the original co op and didn't come with anything but the nails and springs. I'm looking for a link to the tutorial for you now. :)

I guess I am missing the press ins and the nuts. Where can I get those?

I thought Dan had videos of the assembly on his YouTube channel, but I checked there and only found the video on installing the wick.
