I am a phone junkie, and I flip my sh*% when something gets under a phone screen, so I noticed the one speck of dust under my screen immediately.

This is a solid piece of hardware but I have to say QC seems to be very inconsistent on these things. Mine works so well that I'm nto even bothered by the speck of dust, or the fact that the plastic screen cover was so loose I could pull it out and remove the dust anyways, or the fact that my SS VAMOv2 came with a chrome battery extension, bottom cap, and top cap, lmao. At least ~65% of it is stainless steel finish, and that percentage goes WAY up when I'm using it in shortie mode! :p

To clean the inside like i said just blast compressed air around the edges of the screen. It knocks all the dust right out. The screens are pretty crappy plastic, they should make a glass or higher quality replacement for them, id buy. Otherwise its a great working cheap mod. I even hit mine really hard and broke my screen, and the thing still fires...waiting on a replacement so i can tell what the heck voltage im using lol

Mine came with a thin plastic film over the window that made it look cloudy until film was removed......

Lol I wish mine had that plastic wouldn't have gotten the scratch on the screen ever as im really careful about that kind of stuff. Yet the whole unit right out of the box has scratches all over even visible in a dark room. O well. I dont really want to wait and pay for an exchange ughh

I've got 4 VAMOs from SmokTek.com. No scratches or anything like that. However 2 of them are slightly different shades of SS than the other 2. Also, 2 have what looks like a black border on the top and bottom of the screen (inside the plastic) and the other 2 do not. No biggie. I wouldn't blame the vendor for the QC on the production, however, the vendor is responsible for remedying the problems with the device.

The problem is that at this point, there are about 5-6 differend factories manufacturing VAMOs at this point. So QC can vary significantly, as well as the grade of SS, buttons, 510 connection, ect.

Just the nature of the beast at this point.
