As far as I remember, that is an RN4081 threading. You should be able to use anything with that kind of threading on it.

As far as feeling ripped off, don't sweat it. I got ripped off the same way. The important thing is that it got me into vaping and brought me here. Sure, it's a little bit of a hit to the pocketbook, but if it got you off the analogs, it was worth every penny. :)

Before you give it up check out the vendors for cartomizers.
My wife bought one too & we just got tired of refilling carts 5 or 6 time a day.
I have found cartomizers at Vapors Etc. & AZSmokefree for the 4081 & they work great & take the atomizers & carts out of the picture.
Also they can be filled by the condom method & hold about 22 drops of juice when empty, which will go all day vapeing.
Don't don't can the atomizers though as we use them for tasting new flavors 2 drops tailpiped at a time & it works great.
Just don't use too many drops as it can clog the battery.

Keep on vapin':vapor:

I bought an SE from a mall kiosk too, don't feel bad about it, there's nothing you can do except live 'n learn. Mine was an RN4081. It too would go for a short while then start giving problems. My problem was the batteries. I had 3 replaced before I gave up and bought a 510. But it got me into vaping so I'm not complaining about that. There's a few places that carry replacement parts. Try here RN-4072 Atomizer. Most vendors have given up on carrying 4081 stuff anymore so if you plan to use it for a while you may want to get a few spare atty's and batt's. Personally, I'd just get a 510, eGo or KR808 and be done with it, but that's just my opinion.

I agree with Cskent on the upgrade, but the 4081 is nice to have for a few reasons:

1. Loaning out to friends who are teetering on the edge of getting into vaping. Sure, it has its limitations, and as long as you explain that going in, it usually has a favorable result. I've converted two of my friends this way.

2. It's nice to have as a backup or quick on-the-go vaping. It is about as basic as it gets, and sometimes there's something to be said for that.

3. Parts are relatively cheap for them. I managed to pick up a 5-pack of batteries in the Totally Wicked Yo-yo sale for about $20, but even at $35 for the 5-pack, it isn't bad.

Contrary to what a lot of people say, I've found my 4081 to be a decent little unit if used properly. By no means is it an all-day vape, but it CAN get the job done.

Here's the one I almost got suckered into:

Smoke Free Online - Electronic Cigarette E-cigarette E-cig

$150 for what I got for $40, shipped!!! Unreal. But....like Jmitchelliv said earlier. If it got ya off the analogs, it was worth every penny.

If you can't find parts for your 4081, Totally Wicked sell a nice little adapter that will enable you to use 510 attys and batts and those are available everywhere. It's cheap too. $4. See the link below. Might as well pick up some e-juice while you are there. :)

510-4081 silver adapter(510 bat to 4081/103 at)

Hope this helps!

Almost everyone has purchased a piece of crap e cig when they first start vaping. I swear it feels like ive been saying Jany Janty Janty but they really are the best in product, warranty and customer service and have extremely good prices considering the warranty and the customer service. Buy from Janty and give yourself peace of mind.
