Geek girl did a video for basic multimeter use on YouTube. She speaks of a 510 sealed connector with two red wires for under load testing of atties/cartos. She said it was done by Mario aka lord shadow and from jolleyrificmods.com. I can't find the site or that connector.

Anyone know where I can purchase it? I have a meter and would like to use it this way. I am not interested in buying another meter or a provari/Darwin. Lol

Thanks,

Imagine an atty connector...like a 510 to 510. There would be the outside shell (the ground) and the center wire connecting each side (the center posts of each side).

Now imagine cutting that center wire and (with insulation on the wire) running the two inside ends out two holes in the side.

That's what it is. Make it. Order some 510 (or whatever) connectors from MV.

If you use an old atty and have a soldering iron it's about $2.00 in parts assuming you don't have a dead e-cig batt somewhere that you could rip the connector out of. If you had a dead batt and a dead atty... you have all the parts for free. Just need an insulated wire, soldering iron, solder, drill + bit.

Old cartomizer, 510 connector, 18AWG wires, and clips.

Two red wires, one soldered to each center pin. One black wire soldered to female end connector body. Feed black wire through hole cut in cartomizer tube. Press connector body into cartomizer tube. Insert red wires and center pins, fish wires through hole. Heat shrink is optional, but will help gaurd the wire insulation. Twist ends of red wires and solder to alligator clip. Solder black wire to alligator clip. Check that there is no continuity between the 2 alligator clips. No continuity? Good. Done.
