First off I'll take this opportunity to thank everyone here for their contributions. When I bought my first ecig I spent a good week and countless hours reading about all your experiences which really put me on the fast track to getting the process down.

I've been using the SmokeStik. I know, not the most popular, but I've invested around $600 in the set up so I'll stick with it for now. It's been about 6 months for me and all is good. I won't lie, if I go out I will buy a pack just for the sake of convenience. Actually, this weekend I opted for the ecig when I was having a few with friends because I was at home and it was handy.

I'm 35, smoking a pack a day for 17 years. I've quit cold turkey, patch, gum and Zyban but none with lasting results. Now, 6 months into the ecig and I'm feeling fine. Biggest thing is all the extra cash but it's also real nice not having me and my home smelling like stale smoke all the time. And I know experiences differ, but when I sit back for ten and have a vaping session on 35mg, it beats an analogue any day!

Ok, no hidden agenda. The demise of Daniel is what brought me here. He was/is a great guy to deal with but I'm running on my last two weeks here and I'm getting worried. Never mind getting worried, I was freaking out when I didn't receive my order in three days as I was accustomed too! It's been 2 weeks since I ordered and now I need a new supplier.

If anyone wants to oblige me with a short convo so I can shake the noob status it would be much appreciated. I'm on a mission, I need that coveted list!

Welcome from Winnipeg! Great to see another one of us here. There are lots of suppliers available in Canada, and lots of them are great. Once you get 5 posts, come and join us in the Canada forum. And you can even join us in the Manitoba vapers group too! Winnipeg and Manitoba Vapers

We'll be more than happy to help you out, and I will be more than happy to help a fellow Winnipegger out! :D

ok...I know of Daniel...didn't know they shut down though?

I'm not sure what's happening there. I assume if he went on vacation he would have let people know. The site is still up and my order was accepted but I haven't heard anything for two weeks. Usually my order is in my mailbox in 3 days flat! No response to my emails either.

Still working on a vape meet here in the Peg. Hoping soon.. :) Would love to meet fellow vapers here!

Thanks guys, I did join the Manitoba forum. Did you guys end up doing the King's Head earlier this month?

I'm confident there are still many suppliers. I started with Vapables, they went down. Now GR isn't responding. Well, they responded to my PayPal payment! Nice.

I'm not really into hockey either. Have you made it to a game yet? A few guys from work have went. I think we can buy them through my employer, not sure though. Most of the sales staff have gone, possibly with clients though.
Hrmm hockey....is that where they dribble the basket ball, or use the net and paddles? =)) i think i was at one game in my whole life when i used to live in Kimberley BC, and even then i was i was behind the net (on the concrete) goofing off with friends

Unfortunately I have to relagate myself to TSN Jets... :) Have not been privileged enough to get tickets as of yet. But, my wife's boss has promised me some tickets this season... :D Looking forward to the day...

Something like that. And you get nine innings to score a touchdown. XD
