So heres my problem... My roomate has been sick off and on for a month or more now. He seems to want to blame it on me vaping. Saying stuff like "this all didnt happen till you bought that thing". Myself I feel just fine he has what seems to be just the common cold symptoms. By the way he smokes and chews. So could there be anything to his complaining???

Refer to the ClearStream study and/or IVAQS study

ClearStream by FlavourArt | ClearStream by FlavourArt

IVAQS Project

I'm not a scientist or a doctor, but it appears from these studies that nothing of dangerous levels is in the exhaled vape. You can also check with CASAA - The Consumer Advocates for Smoke-free Alternatives Association (and join too to help, it's free!), as they have a lot of resources that you can download or print.

Hope this helps! :D

Hahaha Thanks Sonic!

Yeah I think its just easier for him to blame his poor health on something/someone else then it is to admit he lives a very unhealthy life and could very easily change that. Just needed alittle input to reassure that.

You're a nice roommate for showing concern.

Had it been me (back in the day when I had roommates), I would've been a sarcastic mutha.

"You were late to work ? Must've been me vaping last night."
"Car didn't start ? I did vape in front of your car; sorry."
"The milk expired ? Yep, I was vaping in the kitchen, my bad."

Then after each sarcastic remark, follow with "shaddup you !" :p

I don't know what the PG/VG percentage of your juice is, but PG is very good at killing germs, viruses, fungus, and bacteria.
If you have a good amount of PG in your juice, your roommate is very likely healthier because of it.

There are hospitals that use/have used PG in their air systems to assist with sanitization.

Reassure him by demonstrating with a glass that, unlike smoke, vapor is heavier than air. What you blow in the air quickly settles, it doesn't dance around in the air like smoke for very long.

He smokes and chews and it's somewhere in between winter flu season and spring allergy season. Sure, maybe he's very sensitive to PG. Maybe. But he's got some much more likely reasons to rule out first.
