I mentioned in my previous post that I have been using these for almost 2 weeks(13 days). Only the eGo version so far and I can't wait to try the smaller 510 version. Anyway I just wanted to give my thoughts on these so far. Vapor is out of this world. When I was using a standard 510 atty and modded cart I would take draws about 6-8 seconds long and vapor was good. With these I take about a 3 second draw and I get even more vapor. Flavor is out of this world too. I am currently using the same eGo XL carto now that I have been using all day everyday since last Sunday. The flavor and vapor are the same today as last Sunday. I fill it slightly different than cozzy I use 1ml or just over and I angle the needle to either side being sure to get it into the filler and slowly inject about .5ml in either side. This has been working well I occasionally lose about a single drop out of the bottom and usually none. Also in my 13 days of use I have not gotten juice in my mouth once even a single time, and the only leakage I have had is a tiny bit when I've slightly overfilled. I have been getting an average of 6-10 hours of vaping per fill. My first day using these I managed to empty one in about 5 hours and that was when I vaped so much I gave myself a nicotine OD, that was a pretty killer headache. The only downside I can see to these is you can't clean them out to change flavors, however if you vape it to almost dry and switch from a sweet flavor like french toast to something fairly strong like Wyatt Earp there is no flavor problem at all. If you use something like Cinnabomb or a menthol or thin mint you would have to designate that carto to only that flavor. Of course if one of those flavors is your main vape it shouldn't be a problem. Also it seems that these will keep up with you no matter how fast you vape. You can take several large draws in a row and you will get lots of flavor and vapor every time without it ever tasting dry or burnt unlike with a atty and cart. When you have been vaping on one of these after a few hours you will occasionally need to give it a few shakes to get the last bits of juice. It really seems that you use all the juice you put in too. After 13 days I can't tell you how long these last. My first one I thought was going bad after 6 days but now I think I was just overfilling it. I also wanted to try an experiment and see if you can rinse them out and you can rinse them clean however even after shaking it and blowing it out then letting it dry for 3 days you can't ever get all the water out. Also I wanted to chop one open and see the insides. This one I am using now I have put about 15mls of French Toast through in 7 days and it is still filling well lasting for hours and not leaking. I absolutely love these and plan to use these almost exclusively, in my experience they are far better and easier to use than an atomizer. I really don't find the filling process to be very hard either, you can easily get it down to just about 2-3 min once you've done it a couple times.
Some tips on making syringe filling easier - If you want to keep the markings on your syringe wrap it with a thin layer of clear tape. (My wife gave me this idea, she is a diabetic and has been using them for years.) To fill I like to pull the stopper completely out and drip into the top of the syringe however much you are using to fill. This is much easier than taking the dripper top off every time, and drawing the juice up from the bottle can be difficult. Place the needle in the fill hole before before reinserting the plunger and then fill like normal. You will notice that the plunger never makes it all the way to where the juice is in the syringe you will get an air pocket between them. The cool thing about this is it pushes all of the juice out of the syringe and leaves nothing behind. As long as you inject slowly the little extra air doesn't hurt anything.
This video shows the method I use -
http://www.youtube.com/user/donmuehlbauer#p/u/6/mreUfWcjJ2U I would have had this here before but I had a hard time finding it again. About all I do that is different is I use a small jeweler screwdriver to pop the top and inside cover off, a lot easier than with a paper clip IMO.
