With all the talk of banning flavors, i gotta point out something. Blu, which, if im not mistaken, is made by tobacco company, is continuing to make and add new flavors to their line up. Same with the orher tobacco company made vape products. If a ban was imminent, would tobacco companies be still making new flavored products available? Makes me wonder a little.

Won't anyone think of the children those of us who like our juice with little or no flavorings?

Technically, the Deeming regs already prohibit the introduction of new flavors because they fall under the "No new products after 8/8/16 without a PMTA first" part. However it seems that the FDA currently has no enthusiasm for enforcing this.

When I started vaping I would have happily done without flavours (the flavours back then were pretty awful anyway)

I'll admit though if they did ban flavours I'd probably stop vaping as that's the main objective for me now to maximise the strength of taste.

Whether they do or not is a different question though... Right now I don't see it happening in the UK but the authorities are pretty much pro vaping and I don't know as much about these Deeming regs.

And yes, Blu is big tobacco muscling in on the industry. Although I know 2 people who have quit the fags using their products so I'm not so keen on bashing it. If BT want to quit as well and see vaping as their future that's a step in the right direction

Until they tax the hell out of it. And that's exactly what they're setting up to do.
When government taxes something too much (i.e. at an unreasonable level), all they accomplish is pushing that activity into the "informal economy".

Hey if we gotta do another prohibition, we do. And if we gotta do another civil uprising, well we do. Because history books are written by the winners, it's an inherent bias but anything resembling history is not really being allowed to be taught in any public schools these days, and we can thank "National Standardization" for that. The math was horrifying but you can still learn math on the sly. Certain other things take you know, a deprogrammer and some harsh life lessons.

Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.

I'm not saying I'm all excited about it honestly, and my preference would be for things to remain pleasant. Although, I ALSO think in some ways it might be more "tolerable" that the state of affairs today, and some of the SO NON COMMONSENSICAL things I have to endure hearing, sometimes outta my own kid.
