What build station is every one useing ?

I have seen the CM 521 and the 521 mini , what else is out there ?

I don't use one. I have a coil jig, and load the coil in the rda either on my ohm reader or on my mod.

Geekvape makes a 521 tab if that's what you want to use. As @Baditude pointed out, you can build on a mod too. The tab is just for convenience. At least for me.

Got this one from FastTech a year ago. Thought I was the bees knees then. Used it for a while then the switch broke. Replaced it and it works again. However there comes a stage that its not used anymore. Really not necessary IMHO. A small stand and a good mod to check the watts is adequate enough.

I actually use an old mech mod (top half) that has been mounted to a small 3x5 piece of wood. It raises it up a bit and gives me ample room to grab hold and move around while building, plus if I get juice all over it priming coils I don't care.

Thank you folks, right now I am useing my mod to build on but it's kinda tippy and I thought it would be nice to be able to chk coil resistance and fire it for hotspots with out risking it tipping over ect.

I build on the wood block, check and dry fire on the Tab, when cool put back on wood block stand to wick it and juice it.
I believe Mike Vapes has the build stand he uses linked on his videos, but they are about 40$, pretty but 40$

You can use the ohm reader of your choice for that... the 521 tab is fine..

I just build on a mod. Usually a Pico Dual because it's hard to knock over.

I am gonna have to expand into a tackle box or something. My plastic Folgers tub is getting kinda small.

That's why I prefer to use one. It's stable and I won't drip juice on a mod when priming.

WOW $40 for a wooden doorknob with a 510 connector?!?!

Buy any sort of 510 connector and mount it in a scrap chuck of 2x4 = done on the cheap. If you really want you can stain it to make it look better. Note: you don't even need a "real" 510 connector. You can use replacement EVOD/ARO bases that you can pick up super cheap.

Yes, yes they do. Mine will even use the pull tab portion of those milk caps for the same purpose.

If you want a nice wooden one for cheap, here is a good way:

Buy this Prime-Line 1-3/8 in. Wooden Closet Pole Sockets-N 6794 - The Home Depot $2.75
and this https://www.amazon.com/MeanchMeanch...&qid=1517426204&sr=8-2&keywords=510+connector $3.00

Throw away the slotted wooden disc, mount the 510 through the flat bottom of the other disc and bolt it on from the recessed side. Add stain/paint if desired. For $6.00 you can have a nice looking wood build stand.
