Hey guys,

Have been using a SMOK V8 Stick for a minute now and recently bought a G PRIV 2 LUXE MOD. I wanted the prism blue but seems to be sold out online from the sites I like, and in store. Found the prism blue mod and bought it today.

I plan to use my baby beast tank until my new one comes but I have yet to order one because I have no idea what I'm looking for. I like the Vaporesso Cascade in blue. It looks it will match well, and I've heard great things about the GT coils. However I'm still open to options. Either way, it has to be blue.

I don't need anything too fancy or crazy advanced. Just something that will go well with the G PRIV 2. I was going to get the revenger x kit but I like the G PRIV 2 as a couple of friends have it but they're using the prince tank, and I've heard negative things about it. I'm also starting to really dislike SMOK's coils so I'm looking for a different tank.

Would the Cascade be a good choice? Any input would be great.

Thanks, and glad to be here.

The Cascade is a bit wonky in the way it's put together. There are reverse threaded parts here and there , and it's quite easy to accidentally unscrew the wrong thing when trying to tighten something else up. The Big Baby Beast, Baby Prince, or Baby Beast V2 would work for you, and you'd be assured of a color match. Here's the catch: You don't have to use SMOK coils. The Cascade coils (as well as Eleaf's HW coils) are compatible.

Really and truly, though, I highly recommend learning to build a little and trying an RTA... Or at least a tank with an RBA section. In the long run, once you've found your favorite build, you'll save a ton of money, AND get better results. For instance, my preferred wire costs about $15 per 25' spool (I use SS316L fused clapton 26x2/36... yeah, I could make my own fused claptons, but...). My preferred cotton costs around $12 for 120 pads. That yields around 25 sets of coils that I can dryburn, clean, and rewick around 480 times for $27. Compare that to roughly $27 for 3 x 3 packs of disposable Vaporesso GT Core coils (9 coils, in case you're counting).

Building is not for everyone, and I get that. Owning a tank WITH an RBA will give you the best of both worlds... NOTE that the Big Baby Beast/Baby Beast/Cascade/Ello tank will not work with the original RBA and coils (the RBA is taller, and the RBA kit comes with an extended glass), but, as I understand it, the new Baby V2 RBA will work. I've also seen, but not used, a tank extender kit which might work. That said, there are a lot of tanks with RBA sections...

If you like the Vaporesso Cascade take a look at the Vaporesso NRG. Easier to clean, less parts and with the GT Mesh coils the flavor is excellent. To use the GT Core Coils withe the Cascade you need to use their adapter, 2 more pieces to clean each time. To me the biggest advantage of the Cascade is juice volume 7mls vs 5mls in the NRG. You might also consider the Freemax Mesh Pro great flavor and 6mls capacity.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up ordering the cacade earlier today as I didnt see any replies during that time. As for the baby beast and big baby, I wanted to steer away from a SMOK tank.

I don't mind the adapter and having to clean a few more parts. I actually enjoy taking everything apart, and cleaning it.

The adapter will definitely come in handy. I have to look into all the coils compatible with the tank but I am interested in trying different coils. I've heard good things about the mesh coils. The blue seems like it will match fine so not too worried about it.

Excited to get the tank. Ordered some nice samsung batteries and a cool external charger. Cant wait to have it all hooked up and going.
