Seems like less posting on ECF lately

I frequent another forum from time to time that can't be named and it's slowing down too.

Isnt it march break in the States this and/or last week too? If I'm away, I ain't posting on ECF from the beach or from a chairlift while snowboarding!

That other forums Moderators running wild has caused many members to stop posting and come back home so to speak. At least in my humble opinion.

I'm not sure, it seems to me there is a new mod and a new topper daily?

Maybe 1 reason is because more newbies are actually reading already posted threads, that might have answers to some questions they'd normally start their own discussions for in the past. I know I've noticed quite a few posts from newbies within ongoing threads in about the last 2-3 months anyway.

Another might be because the FDA Deeming garbage doesn't have much new going on lately. There was a huge increase in posts because of it, from about last May-June through even Nov.-Dec. it seemed.

Or, I've noticed this on other forums, too - When the weather starts getting nicer in various places, and more people are spending more time outside,...the # of posts/amount of activity overall usually drops.

This is true about old posts. I did it this morning looking for a post I took a screen shot of an lost. Saying which battery would fit in the cheap harbor freight flash light. It was not a 18650 but a smaller an fatter one. Still hunting

What I meant is lately, I'm more likely to search google than to clutter the site with another thread that was already covered. But that's just me and that I think I created too many threads when I first came on board

The vape shops i visit seem very quiet here in Michigan. Some of the vape shops are adding those glass water pipes (bongs). The enthusiasm of smokers at work to consider vaping has decreased noticablly. The reason for the work situation I think is management is discouraging vaping on the shop floor (those of us who already vape have learned how to be very discrete with the occaisional puff). If you can't vape on the shop floor making the transition is much harder. If you're jonsing and it's break time are you going to vape or smoke? May be some markets are hotter than others. May be vapers are tending to get more underground. Smoking made me a social outcast to a degree. Vaping hasn't changed that. What's different is I'm healthier and save 3 grand a year.

The bigger vaping forums have taken quite a hit in popularity the last couple of years.

I think vaping becoming more mainstream is one reason. It's just easier to get good info offline these days.

The other thing I think is a significant factor is that a lot of hardware vapes very well now. The move to regulated devices made things much easier to master too. I remember how it was in 2012-13 ... hard to find hardware that actually worked reasonably without having to tweak/MacGyver something, and even then some products were so bad they just didn't work. Ah, the good old days

People in general, and most especially online, are angrier.. it's rather sad really, but anger is up considerably, in general. I've noticed this as a whole. People are saying things without thought nor feeling, nor are very many left who are thinking..
