hmm. well, I've seen reports of 2 different Efest batteries with different than advertised ratings.
The 2500 mah purples have been reported to have a 20 amp continuous rating instead of 35 amp.
The 3100 mah purple 20 amp continuous has been tested to only 4 amp with a max of 6.4 amp. It's actually a Panasonic NCR18650BE.

I've only seen a couple of reports on these. I'd like to see more.

With that said, I'd stick with a brand that has a bit less controversy until more is known. I recommend AW IMR or Sony VTC.

Im new to the forum as well as vaping and actually ordered the wrong Panasonic batteries for my Sig 20w, as soon as I figured it out I went back and ordered some Sony VTC5s, from everything Ive read they are pretty much at the top of this list as far as 18650s. I will just keep the Panasonic batteries for a coulple cheap Cree flashlights!

The Sigelei only will output 30 watts or a little under 5.5 amps. Pretty much any battery from the past year will handle that with no problem. Even at 80% efficiency that is still under 7 amps.
I respectfully disagree with your analysis. 30 watts from a battery that's mostly discharged to around 3.3 volts is 9 amps. If the regulator 80% efficient, then you're pulling 11.4 amps from the battery at that point. If you add in some engineering safety margin, you'll spec a battery rated at a minimum of 15 amps for that application.
