Are the Segelei Telescopes fully mechanical? I had a smok Telescope, but it literally broke after using it for 2 days. I would like to get a similar one again for out and about use so I don't have to worry about my GG, but I only use mechanicals and rba's anymore, and it seems incredibly pointless to buy another "mechanical" that has a wire in it. Hello Smoktech! Take the freaking wire out of your Telescope!!! Mechanical means "No wires, no problems!"

I've seen sites say that it is "fully mechanical", but I've also seen a lot of sites say this about the smok Telescope, which as many of you know, is completely false, and I don't want to waste my money on something that's going to break in 2 days again!

I'm still a little hazy on exactly what a "Mechanical Mod" is but I think my Roughstack counts. That thing is a tank and I'd recommend one to anyone that doesn't want to worry about it failing no matter how many times you drop it. They are machined out of aluminum and come in a ton of colors. The only real problem I have with it is button placement but I think they fixed that with the metal "Bolt". If I'm wrong about what a mech is I'm sorry for wasting your time.

Mechanical MOD means there is NO wires at all in the device the telescope(SMOK) has a wire inside the top connector,so it is not a true mechanical mod.

I like my smok tele better the spring on the sig is really really stiff, the spring and bottom seem alot more sturdy than the smok also.
Right, but as I stated up there, I don't want another Smok Telescope, I want the Segelei tele IF it is mechanical, which the Smok Tele is NOT. It has a wire in it.

Also, no, the Roughstack is not mechanical, it has a wire in the switch. That being said, there's nothing wrong with it, and if it's your bag, then great for you. But I would have to be insane to buy another Smok Telescope after my last one stopped working after 2 days! You know what they say, "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result". Well I'm not insane and I can't expect a different result (especially by some of the negative reviews) and hope if I were to blow the money on another one it wouldn't screw up.

I wasnt recommending the smok ive owned both and like the smok better. I never knew the smok had a wire in it after looking at my co workers sigeil the top caps look similar. I do know if the button on the smok breaks it is almost impossible to fix, on the sigs you can remove the white plastic cover on the button and try to repair it.

I feel pretty confidant if the smok has a wire in the top cap that the siegiel does too since most of their products look identical.

Yep, you have to be very careful with mechanical tele mods, not only that, but for example in my GUS Telescopic when I have the battery in upside down, or my GGTS, if I were to screw it down really tight, it would actually cave in the bottom of your battery (actually happened to me). Unfortunately I ONLY own mechanical telescopic devices so I have to be really careful all the time!!! Thank you! I had seen a picture of that "Skull mod", that looks like a non telescopic version of the Segelei with a skull on it, and that is definitely 100% mechanical, so I was hoping the same was true of the Segelei's, because I really hate bringing my GG to work with me to possibly get all scuffed up, dropped, etc.

Just saw this and thought of your thread.

Edit: aw crap it's the same as thebong24's suggestion.

LOL,yea that what i was going to say,if you don't mind a clone of the GG,which is basically all it is.Like you said from my post, the actual GG was too expensive so that only leaves the clones.I don't think the Natural is a GG killer either and i don't think they will ever come up with a clone that will ever be a GG killer.

I don't think th natural is a gg killer some videos out there exaggerates too much...but for the price it is worth it...it performs like other mech mods out there... so if u r on a budget u can try the kts or tec mod...I sanded all connection on my natural so im happy having it...in the future maybe ill try the ggts or ea... but for the price nothing beats the natural imo...
