I don't know if you have found your kit yet but here is my two cents. A great site to visit is DiscountVapers Eric the owner is a great guy and has loads of good info on all things e cig related. He also has some great starter kits that are great for new Vapers just starting out. Clearomizers are awesome to use and the ones with replaceable heads are a good value. It can be overwhelming because of all the info out there for sure. I really think you'll find what your looking for at Discount Vapers.com good luck with your vapping journey.

I was like this around 6-8 weeks ago. KISS keep it simple. and don't sweat the small stuff. I started with a EGO 1100 mah starter kit 2 clearomisers and some sample juice. to tote it around in i went to wall mart and got a little plastic notion box cut some of the dividers out and it is about the size of a pack of smokes. 2 weeks later I got a EGO VV or variable volt. that will let you adjust the flavor of the vape by adjusting the voltage. don't worry about the math if it taste burned you have the voltage too high. don't worry about DIY now just get started. you will have time to get into that later. also you will find that your intrests and Vape gear will probaly change so you don't have to but the perfect gear right out of the gate. The gear I have now is my EGO VV 6 clearomisers or CE4s and 10 or so differnt juices ranging from 10 mg to 18. feel free to PM me but the big thing here is to get started and adjust your gear as you mature in vaping.

I have decied on an eGO twist 1,000 mah battery. The vision sounds good and may be my second battery, but im kinda inclined to stick with the bigger brand/ original to start with.

There have been SO many websites listed and I am really struggling to find one single website that has everything.

I need
Joyetech eGO twist battery.
Newest revision/rebuildable real deal clearomizer
A thread sleeve for the eGO twist battery
would be icing on the cake if the same store had a mini-eGO of some kind too

I am trying to avoid paying the shipping at multiple stores.

Does anyone know if the clearomizer at Ego Cartomizers is a rebuildable/ genuine one?

I would greatly appreciate if anyone knew of a site that carried all of the things that I need that would be competetively priced with myvaporstore.com, I don't care to spend like $5 or $10 more to get everything in one place.

Hey. I already have an ego kit and juice on the way. I am attempting to get my order together for my future gear because the kit i got only has one clearomizer with it so i will be needing more clearomizers and parts soon. I figure i will need a bigger twist battery for home use and a smaller battery for portability.

Is the most leak proof thing a cartomizer? If so is the bogue cartomizer considered the best?

It looks like Discount Vapers may have everything on your list.

eGo Products

I checked this place out but noticed they are not authentic "Joyetech" brand. I kind of wonder if there is a difference in the brand name stuff and the generics.

Has anyone noticed if there Joyetech stuff says China or Thailand on it?

I would guess if they are made in the China the generics would be the same??

I was watching some youtube videos and the vision spinner looks a lot lot bigger than the joyetech stuff. Bigger around and longer. I guess that won't matter as long as I use it for home use though. I do have the generic 650 mah that should be a portable size.

Seems the vision spinner is getting quite a few votes over the joyetech though......

When it comes to those adapters, does a clearomizer count as a tank? I am still kind of confused as the difference in a tank and a clearomizer. That vivi nova looks a lot bigger and more like a tank than the other clearomizer I have seen. Its hard to tell because the pictures never give any perspective.

Thanks for the replies. I really do appreciate them. I am this frickin close to hitting the order button on one of these, I just don't want to be saying oh dang I wish I would got "this or that".

No advice I just wanted to say grats for going for it! 2 weeks myself and I'm feeling better daily ...

Thanks. Great to hear! I haven't had a cigarette (or "analog") since Friday. Admittedly that is mostly because I am sick and I know cigarettes would only make it worse. I think the e-cig has not made my sickness worse but im excited to find out how I feel using them after I feel all better.

Also, I think I finally figured out the Tank vs Clearomizer conundrum. Wheshw. Will place my final order when I get my eGo kit and see how I feel about the battery size.

Thanks!

The thread adapter just covers the threads between the tank and battery mainly to hide them and provide more stability. The spinner is a little shorter and fatter than the twist and the voltage readout is easier to see for older eyes. I actually like it better. Just bought another one. I think the vivi nova is a better clearo tank than the stardusts and the heads can be replaced or rebuilt cheaply. It's a very easy setup to start with. Jmho.

You are going to have buyer's remorse, no matter what you pick.

At some level, it's a battery, atomizer and a way to get juice in it.
There is a difference in dumb batteries (fixed voltage), variable voltage (eGo twist, vision spinner) and smart batteries, (lava tube, provari)

Mainly, once you pick the price you want to spend, and you stay away from the very bottom rung of cheap stuff, you'll be just fine.

There is an adjustment to vaping that most people must make. Lots of e cigs fit your criteria, but it is so difficult to find the one that works for you personally. Nearly everyone on here will probably tell you to get an Ego because it is a mantra among forum posters. For me, I would not make the Ego my choice. The best alternative to cigarette like devices I have found is the Elite from Electronic Cigarettes from Cigeasy - Home of the Easy E-Cigarette It has excellent taste, a great battery, a reasonable price and good customer service. I recently bought a new cig like ecig from White Cloud when they ran a sale for $29.95 per kit. The common complaint against White Cloud has been their exorbitant prices, but they appear to have heard the masses and have drastically reduced the prices on their kits. This one has great battery life, cartomizers that last a long time and have great taste, and is very similar to the cigarettes we are all used to. You can currently get the kit for $39.95 and also try this coupon WCKIT30 for an extra 30% off https://www.whitecloudelectroniccigarettes.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=frontpage&Itemid=1 If you have some money to spend, I would try both to see what you like best. Both are excellent choices. I say that from the perspective of one that has tried all of them and has done it for almost four years. You just have to discover what works best for you.

That sounds more like pharmacy math, yeck! 18mg/ml would be like %1,800 since 1ml=1mg (roughly speaking with most liquids).

1.8% would be 1.8mg in 100ml of whatever. **edit** I think, I am sick and tired right now. This can get complicated but I think that what I said is right, at least right now I do haha **edit**

For those that might still be interested, 1 liter is about 1 kilogram. So, 1 milliliter is about 1 gram, or 1000 milligrams.
If 18 milligrams is nicotine, then 18 / 1000 = 1.8%

You may now resume vaping. :vapor:

If you liked the Blu, you will probably love the eGo. I found the eGo size to be 'not too big' and 'not too small', and a clearomizer or eGo-T tank system to be the least fussy. That way, you'll have the least number of things to go wrong, and be off to a good start. Then take your time to learn about the other options, and decide if/when you'd like to try those out.

Thanks for all the input! I am going to see how the size of the eGo fits me and decide if I want to get a e-cig size. Apperantly if I want an e-cig size then 808 style is the way to go?

I don't understand why one website doesn't sell all the products. It seems like they either sell joyetech or they sell KG, Vision, and other "generics". I think I am starting to see that all of this stuff is made in China and there probably is not an incredible amount of difference in them. Depending on what I think of the eGo I will either go for an e-cig type or I will go for a variable volt ego (either joyetech twist or vision spinner) and then down the road build a variable volt 18650 box mod.

Those 18650 variable volt box mods that use like an entire 5ml bottle as the tank look pretty frickin cool. I think building something like that would be fun and maybe I could get my electrical engineer brother involved and come up with something to benefit us all

Well, waiting for my eGo is going to give me a heart attack !!!!!

ALL THIS JUICE AND NOTHING TO VAPE IT WITH !!!

Yes 1 ml is 1 gram. My bad. Sick and tired make for brilliance! haha

Now the concentration of nicotine in the solution depends on some factors.

Are we referring to "weight of nicotine in volume of liquid" or "volume of nicotine liquid in volume of liquid"

Weight per volume or w/v is grams/100ml

Volume concentration or v/v is ml/ml

In the latter case we need to know the concentration of the nicotine liquid to determine the overall concentration.

I am going to guess it would be hard to get any supplier to reliably tell you all of that information.

Seems like it would make since for a standard percentage to be used for liquids, percentage of pure nicotine liquid per total volume.
