I've sold more REOs than I care to admit. Most of them went to good homes and I rest easy about them. There is a green mini out there that I mourn. Sold it to someone for a great price, lots of extras and then saw it getting re-sold minus a door and paint on the leather cover.
Made me a little sick to my tummy.

I hear ya! I haven't sold either of my 2 minis, but have been thinking the past month that I'd like a VV REO and that I'd sell a mini to upgrade. And the longer I thought about selling a mini, the more I thought I didn't want to part with it. I'm very afraid of seller's regret. *LOL* So my holiday present to me is going to be a VV REO - likely before the end of the month and it will reside alongside both my minis.

I can't imagine selling either of my 2 Reos. My first, a mini bought off the classys, is special to me because it was my first. The second one, a Mini 2.0 18490, is special because it was my first new Reos. They both work flawlessly, and I love the size.

This is me. Both my minis were purchased new and I've decided I can't part with them because they are consistent workhorses and I also love the size. They are so convenient to throw in a purse or pocket, no worries about top heavy tanks, or leaks, or things breaking off should they get knocked over and no worries about them rolling off a table or counter.

I sold my Woodvil- no regrets, I never used it.
I also sold an one of the original Wood Reos- one with an 801 connector. I couldn't use it well and it went to someone who uses it and had it restored to its original beauty! No regrets there either. Now, if you were to ask me if I would sell any of my other Reos, the answer would be Hell NO!!

You said...everytime I sell something, I find myself running through the classifieds trying to find the exact same thing and wondering if I should buy it...go figure

I passed along a few REO's I bought on the classy's. Ones that I knew from before the purchase would never be mine.

There have been a few times that I have looked at all my REO's and wondered if I could sell one to someone else. But each has a story. Most had been used, sold and used some more and then up for sale again.

I have been known to talk to my REO's. I know it's weird. But more than a few of them have been told that they are home now. They are mine and will stay with me and be cared for and loved.

Call me crazy, I don't really care. I know what they mean to me, and I will never regret bringing them into my home.

For those who have allowed me to take in one of your REO's I send a big Thank You! You know who you are!

Thank you Rob I've always treated everything (and everyone) with respect.
I still have toys from my childhood that look like new.

And dam you put so much thought and hard work into them it would be a shame not to keep them like new.
