When I went my doctor seemed fairly oblivious to the ecigs. He thought it was better than smoking but really didn't have anything to say. Certainly not like the triage nurse at the ER who got excited about me using them and wanted her brother to switch. My roommate told him he was planning on switching to ecigs and the doctor got excited saying that was great and started singing the praises of ecigs about how it wasn't the nicotine that caused cancer or heart problems. I guess the doctor has done some reading since I started going to him. It probably helped that I was asking him about the studies showing nicotine helps ulcerative colitis. He seemed to think that was internet lore but I've since found the studies on NIH's website. If he has my final diagnosis, and he seems like a good enough doctor to keep up on his patients, he could've been forced into looking into it deeper. Needless to say my plans on going to 0mg are out the window. If we can win enough doctors the ANTZ don't stand a chance.
