Have any of you guys had this happen? When telescoping the body too tight, I constantly short out my bats. Is this a design flaw?,or common with telescopic mechanicals? I have to leave it semi loose, and it really annoys me. Is there something i can do, maybe add some type of insulator, I have lost 2 bats already, and i really love this mod. I just don't like the fact it shorts out when telescoped too tight. The k100 did not have this issue.

i have not done anything to it . i use the panny cgh and the aw imr flat tops. I only use it in 18650 mode and if i screw it together too tight the battery gets hot and doesn't fire,im guessing this is a short. the switch is adjustable and i believe the top center pin is also maybe something it too tight too loose? i read somewhere that someone was having a similar problem i hope someone can chime in

Leave the battery body loose, install the rba, then tighten the Mod. Self adjusting that way.
Yes but to get the tubes tight enough that it's not rocking all over the place it pushes up the positive posts. Actually hard shorted my battery earlier cuz it went to far up.

Floydfanx6,

First and foremost bro its so good to see you out, I thought for sure you'd never make bail before trial. Last time mom and dad had to donate blood for 6 mos. each and swore they wouldn't post for you again. Anyways, I hope you sold the gold provari and have some left over for a good lawyer. Looks like you still have anger issues and are taking it out on fake gold china mods now, finally got good batteries and go figure the plated paint from the mod shorted them out. Hercules, Hercules.... vape softly but carry a gold stick, ask not what your overtightened mod can do for you, but what you can do for your gold Sentinel Clone. Good news tho, if you has bad accident ya got the materials to help fix them molars ya dig? Word up holmes, keepin it real

What happens if you just don't tighten it too much? Does the whole mod stay loose and want to disassemble itself? Maybe you can get some teflon tape somewhere away from the connections to tighten up the body if this is the case.

I'm just trying to think ahead because I have the same mod and same batteries coming in the mail.

quick update after the last post i tried to post some other rba's on the sentinel, which i havent done yet. The aga was shorting out,i suppose it was pushing the center pin up,the insulator on the aga is not great. If i put anything else on the sentinel vivi nova/cart/rda/ i can tighten it as tight as can be and it FIRES no problem. I am relieved and just need to buy new insulators for the aga, for now i have other toys to use on it,thank you so much
