Hurray! the world is safe for apparently there will be no shortages of bigoted judgemental people that make decisions that affect millions based on nothing more than there own opinions.

I say it's time to do something that really will help public safety and introduce a bill that changes the legal driving limit from 16 to 21.

That ought to give the little #$%!* something to worry about other than what her elders do for entertainment.

Actually, this is a good thing. It really doesnt matter what the motives are but what they are pushing is essentially legalizing E-cigs in New Hampshire by proxy. The proposed bill simply states that they should not be marketed to anyone under 18. If this passes then it will set precedent which is what all of us vaporers want. Then we can use the New Hampshire law to further our cause in other states. As it is now most other states are seeking an outright ban to e-cigs.

Y'know why I'm so salty about crap like this? Because if I need an opinion on bad sparkly vampire literature or hello kitty or what a time saver texting and driving is I will ask a 16 year old girl.

If I need an opinion on an adult activity that is made for and engaged in by adults then where does this creature that has no clue what she is talking about come into the equation?

Now we condone and encourage the development these kinds of people? Really?

Thanks Velma you solved the mystery.

All I wanted to do was vape instead of smoke and I would have gotten away with it too if it had not been for you meddlin' kids, AND YOUR DAMMNED DOG!

I agree.

It's also great you can't buy alcohol until 21... So, I also think we need to make sure all the following is moved up to 21. If you're not old enough to drink, then you shouldn't be old enough to...
  • Be an adult
  • Vote
  • Use Nicotine products
  • Operate any heavy machinery
  • Go to prison (County Jail under 21, Juvenile Detention under 18)
  • Join the military
  • Work a full-time job (18 to 21 can get a workers permit for part-time summer jobs, but has to ride a bicycle or hitch rides to get to work)
  • Have intercourse
  • Get Married
  • Graduate from Senior High School... which brings up the next one
  • Go to College
  • Have a credit card, or get loans, or have a bank account
There! Do you think that would shut her up?

Hmmmmm..... I see a big inconsistency here.

Do you really think the Armed Services could afford to change its recruiting age to 21 with two unwinnable wars being perpetually waged? Just to be consistent with Voting and Alcohol laws. NO WAY.

The whole reason the Voting Age was lowered to 18 in 1971 was because the gov't could send you off to die in a pointless foreign war at age 18, but it was okay to tell this person you can't vote until 21. It nearly caused riots in the early 70s (and in fact, did.... and cost some lives..... Kent State). That's just how much people back then would not put up with this BS.

Since our gov't needs new 18 year old flesh to kill off, the option will ALWAYS be to lower the age for the entry to battle... and thus, the age of entry to adult entitlements must be lowered, never raised.

Well, nobody's perfect.

It would be harder to brainwash someone 21 anyway. Gotta grab them before they start thinking. So, okay, we'll leave those 2 alone... 18 it will stay.

But it's still funny... You're old enough to go to war, but you can't drink to drown your nightmares. Just doesn't seem right.
