Yeah the title says it all, dont really understand why or what I did to offend her. But my local smoke shop, which is where I was buying my 'vapor supplies', the owner kicked me out.......FOR LIIFE!!!!
So here is how it went down..........que fade animation and magical chime sound bite...
It was a year and a half ago, I was a young lad at 22 years old, had already been smoking for 8years, going to the same smoke shop. Walked in one day to a sign that read 'E-CIG' First thing I thought was the creepy guy, you know what guy I'm talking about. The guy that follows you around the mall trying to put a neck warmer around your neck, perfume up your nose, straighten or curl your girls hair, yeah that guy. I thought to myself. Did that guy start working here? I have seen the same sign plastered to his post with a cig type thing in his hand blowing smoke into my face making sure I knew 'The tip lights up!! The tip lights up like the real thing!!'
I was half way turned around about to start running to save my gfs hair from being torched again, when the familiar greeting from the regular lady rang out. I walked to the counter with a sign of relief, pointed to the sign and asked 'whats that?' She pulled out a menthol and regular flavored disposable to show me. I was amazed [the mall creepers product had always interested me, but i wasnt about to give him my credit card. At that point I had trird everything to quit, I was pretty discouraged about the need for cigarettes.] I pointed to the menthol one and said that I would give it a try. Started with buying them from time to time akong with a pack, then more disposables and less pack buying till......POOF..... I quit smoking all together!!!!!!
3 months had gone by at that point wheb I walked in and saw she had gotten an 'E-CIG KITs' sign. Walked up to buy thr usual when she told me to: 'buy the kit, buy the kit you'll save TONS of money, all you have to do is buy these cartridges. They have menthol, you like the menthol!!' Another few days go buy and every day she says the same thing about this kit, till finally I just bought one. Got it home and opened it up to find 2 automatic switch batteries, charger, charger cable, and 6 menthol flavored cartridges. I read the instructions, plugged the first batt. In and waited till the light turned green. When that happened I put the other one on, grabbed a cartridge, sat on the couch and took a drag. WOW.... nothing happened.
Time to speed things up...... when the other one finished and not knowing any better it was okay, lasted an hr or two. I went back to exchange the non working one, only to get a lecture on all sales being final and there are NO ReTURNS OR EXCHANGES. But since she is so nice that she would do it this one time. A week passed and I was puffing away thinking things were great with my 'vape'. Then one of the batts wont charge, so I go back and get that same lecture. This time with no Ms Nicey Nicey and had to buy another one if I wanted to 'vape' when waiting for the other one to charge. That happened a total of FIVE TIMES, all while spending $15-20per day on these refills. Refills that would sometimes be great, most of the time half filled or not filled at all. I never said anything remembering what was said the last time I brought up a faulty product.
That was till one day on the way to work, both of my batts had quit working within 5min of each other and I had to go all day without. I went straight to the smoke shop after work and explained the situation, told her about the empty cartridges, and reminded her of all the batts I've bought. Mind you I'm a very polite, well spokern person even in high stress or temper situations. This one being no different, never raised my voice or swore. SHE FLIPPED THE .... OUT!! Saying I'm wrong, Im just a kid, I dont know what I'm, talking about, that I'm picking her out bc shes a woman business owner, and finally she said...... drum roll please. GET THE .... OUT OF MY STORE BEFORE I CALL THE COPS, YOU CAN NEVER COME BACK, GONE BE GONE WITH YOU! I quote.
So I've obviously never gone back buying a few things at some random sites. My question is: is there a site out there with a HUGE selection of products or the more 'popular' ones? Which have the best deals?
