After watching a few times, In the videos it seems to stop when opening or closing the juice control to max/closed. That was my impression and the main reason I had questioned the disassembling.
I just wondered if the deck wasn't screwed in and there to stop the chimney if it would just keep going until it fell out?

Won't be a while until I get back tonight and explore the chimney better. When I was first building it, the narrow center shaft where it slides up and down has a pin that goes through and holds the chimney in place while unscrewing. It must be cut vertically to allow the center to raise and lower. I tried to push the chimney through the top when the top was separated from the deck to see if the top section that turns would pop off but it didn't. I guess I could try a bit harder next time. I would imagine it is mildly press fit into and oring. It just may take a little more force than I was willing to apply at the time.

Just received mine from VaporDNA, so it is time for me to tell how to remove the glass and chimney.
Well as said previously it doesn't . I've been studying it for about an hour and didn't even get much of an understanding of even how they assembled it. So I gave up looking, going to do a build now, probably 26 gauge Ti.

So with the build I have in it, 7.5 wraps 26 gauge Ti, 2.7 mm id with rayon (my standard build) it reminds me of a Kanger v2 RBA as far as perfomance. There is much more possibilities with the Serpent for some larger builds than the ST. All still new to me so still a work in progress but this is more of an RTA than an RTA that vapes like a dripper. Just my opinion so far. I'm not saying I don't like it as it's more my kind of tank, Bellus and Aromamizer is a bit much for continuous use for me. Nothing wrong with an ST but this looks much better.
30 - 35 watts with 40 - 45 preheat is the most I'm getting with a DNA200 before it starts throttling back @ 450F. I've made adjustments to the wicks tails.
This is a first build.......

Well with this build I'm running 50 watts with a 60 watt preheat, starting to get impressed.
I need to change my juice that I have in it for that kind of power, I'm getting dizzy.

Vape Mail today...The Serpent arrived!!! After a bath, put in a twisted 26ga @ 3mm, .55 ohms @ 35-40 watts. After about an hour she is performing quite nicely. Gonna take it out on the road tomorrow. No leaking on the top fill...chimney all the way down with afc closed.

Finally got mine today. What a gorgeous tank and very well made but a huge PIA to build on. Lol not sure what they were thinking with those slanted post holes. Had to wind a left handed coil to make it line up right. However, persistence pays off with an excellent smooth vape experience. The air flow is the smoothest I've ever had on any tank and quiet too. Amazing flavor and vapor production. All in all I think the troublesome build is worth it.

I don't have any experience with the zephyrus. But I would say it's more than the crown or isub. The air hole beneath the coil is more than 5mm in diameter as is the chimney and drip tip. This thing really breaths IMHO.
