Where are you getting the Monster clone from?

I got a monster clone deck from fasttech a few months ago but it only lasted a week or so. The positive block was loose so I tried to tighten it and ended up snapping the post inside. Just be aware that if the one you ordered is like mine to be wicked gentle with the connection between the block and the 510 screw. I'll post a pic in just a minute...

I have a few Monster v3 clones coming from Fasttech. Was shipped three days ago.

I bought them mainly to turn around on eBay.

Well hopefully you won't get to many people that break the positive block and try to return them.... I didn't go all gorilla on mine either, it broke without much force.

Really loving this serpent tank. Flavor is the best and airflow is the smoothest I've ever seen. Wish it held a little more juice though. I'm still not crazy with the little bit of leakage I get when filling it. I've noticed that once it's empty if I close the juice port and let it sit for awhile then fill it, it doesn't seem to leak. But if I try to fill it right after using it a small bit of liquid seeps from the air hole then it's fine.

I've been using this tank for a week now and can't believe this thread doesn't have more traffic.

The Serpent is the first single coil RTA I've owned since the Kayfuns. Matter of fact, the Serpent reminds me of a Kayfun on steroids!!

What I like the most about the serpent is it's versatility. I have 4 Vaporshark DNA 40's and besides being used as paperweights or with Subtank Minis, don't get much use. With the Serpent, I can use a .5ohm coil and vape at 35 watts and it's a great vape!! You can also put a big fat Clapton in it and crank up the power for yet another great vape! Love the versatility!!

Major....I initially had leaking while filling issues as well. Don't know why with juice flow control but I did?? What I've been doing is turning the tank upside down then opening the juice flow and, don't know why, it's not been leaking??

I thought that single .5 coil at 35 watts would save on juice but that is not the case! This little guy goes through the juice pretty fast which only means this tank works very, very good!!!

Ordered one:)

I like the good, but not overly excited reviews/experiences of you guys. Plus purpose built single coil flavour attys are my thing.

So what's with the off centre juice channels, what benefit does it offer? I'm guessing its for wicking faster, as shorter wick tails?
Adding length to the legs of a coil increases its resistance. Keeping the legs as short as possible should make it a bit more accurate. If you've ever tried to stuff a 7+ wrap spaced coil in a subtank, you have to dogleg the coil legs back to the screw and this will keep you from having to do that, so it should be easier overall to coil. I'm just going off of pictures, mind you, so take it with a grain of salt... I've not quite made up my mind if I want to get this atty yet, but I really like how the deck is designed.

I think the juice channels are off center because the wire holes are at an angle. The coil will end up being at an angle so the wick will lay right into the channels.

So after filling you turn it upside down and open the juice flow and it doesn't leak?

When screwing the juice fill top cap back on to the atty, a bit of pressure may be formed in the atty. When opening the jfc (juice flow control) with the atty in the upright position, that pressure will push juice. With the atty upside down the air left in the tank (bubble) will be next to the jfc opening and when the jfc is opened the pressure in the tank just pushes air through the jfc opening.

This "trick" is commonly used with the Mutation Tank people, me included, and works quite well. It's all about the small ammount of pressure. That's why the leak stopped shortly after opening....the pressure was gone.

Make any sense???

Well I tried the inverting method and burping the juice flow after filling today. By gosh it worked! No seepage from the airflow at all. Thank thank thank you! Now I don't have anything negative to say about this thing. Can't wait for my other one to get here from GB. Looks like I'll be retiring the STM's from rotation and possibly ordering a couple more of these serpents[emoji3]
