All due respect to Phil but one guy's review of something out of the box won't usually keep me from buying it. I do love his reviews and have learned from them but with vaping in general YMMV on virtually everything.

This particular tank I've heard does indeed suck out of the box most of the time. I think I saw somewhere that the factory isn't filled with a bunch of wick and coil specialists so most of them came poorly coiled resulting in a lot of burnt and dry hits. Everything I've read from people who have got them and rebuilt them suggests they work like champs.

For $15 I'm still thinking I'll give them a shot. There's a few people that have written up good mods for them to get them working just like a Genesis. That's a pretty cheap price for something along those lines I think.

Yeah you would think that an initial impression would be taken as such, but I guess it was too much for GV to allow on their threads.. as long as it doesn't leak, doesn't fall apart and holds and heats up your coils.. and at $15, what's so bad about it?

Thanks for the visual..... If it does bring about 2 inches of rains slowly over the next two days, the emotional scars weren't worth it

Barely wet the pavement here at my place, even had the window rolled down on the car, and the seats are still dry

Not only tonight but last night also.

Just loaded up a new carto (5 days on the last one...damn thing) and now hitting it at 3.7. BORING. That's what i just figured out. 3.7 is BORING.
I almost don't want to vape...but need to 3.7 it for a while or these damn cartos taste burnt at 6 volts. Tomorrow I'll switch back to 6 and be fine but...
On the plus side I'm picking up flavor nuances on the same juice that I don't get at 6 volts. Somewhere deep down in there is a touch of halo prime 15.....almost got a woodrow. Think It's the 555(I have 4 different liquids in here) not sure but need to isolate it and figure out how to transfer it to a big boy voltage.
Pardon me for 1 minute, literally, I have to take a drag....ok..22 seconds on that hit. I don't have enough time in a day to vape at 3.7.
High voltage has ruined me. Ok...I was probably ruined before that, but it added to my ruinedness..

I want to vape at higher voltage, but im loving the nova for A: the easy fill tank, B: Wash it and dump in a new flavor, and C: 10 days (about 40ml) and I have only used one head, and its still going strong. If the nova could handle 10W without scorching (yes i would go higher, but not expecting a miracle), I would be a very happy person.

well its not rebuildable (well Bob would beg to differ) to me its replaceable. And Ill answer for Pitt, just like i tell the bill collectors ITS IN THE MAIL.

Yeah, every once in a while I will break out the KGO bats or throw a 3.7v bat in the Bolt and try to give it a go..It's not horrible with certain flavors, but NOT tobaccos! I will throw a 1.5 or a 1.7 on em and suck down some red bull or something sweet or fruity, but that doesn't last that long..

Agree.. What you might try doing, is when (if) you rebuild the heads, try using cotton or bamboo yarn.. I hear through the grapevine that it wicks a lot better.
