Anything less than 1.5ohm is also too much for me. Even that about blows my throat out.

I built my first cotton ball wicks tonight. Me likes. I hope they last a little while.

Which gets me thinking to the next level. Dryer lint! Might be hard to pull it through the coil though...

I boil a PGA bath my cotton yarn, gives the cleanest flavor and doesn't taste like sock then.

My Chalice with 0.20 mm Kantal A1 twisted, @1,40ohms

Here is a wick constructed of rolled cotton. I layed it on top of the ohm meter for a visual reference to size. The sequence shows raw, then insterted, then trimmed, then pushed into the final position.

After some hour of testing... I found a great (imho) setup : 33g kantal A1, twisted on Chalice @ Ohm .....

So my backup will be the Grand with reomizer same setup!

Made a great setup last night, a combo of SS mesh and silica.
Basically there's mesh inside the coils, and I just put half an inch of silica under and around it to soak up and hold the juice. So the juice get vaporized on the SS mesh, which I think taste better than the silica. I'm going to buy some cotton pads or balls today and replace the silica. I may have found a great setup for me.

Sound nice... do you have some pict? I am waiting some organic hemp cord from ebay to switch from silica wick; is not about taste (I found it neutral in good quality silica) but for some comments I saw about safety in vaping silica.. I really don't know, but if changing to something all natural will result in same vape experience I will switch.
About cotton ball.. I am concerned about burning if you get a dry hit..What is your experience?
