I'm new here bit thought I'd share my history/thoughts on vaping, equipment, etc...

I smoked marl lights @15-20 a day for 13-15years. A few years ago I tried using 808s. I tried a few different cart and battery combos and a few different juices. Ended up on bloog prefilled cartos in 555,ry4 and red and tried various jc juices to refill with. I thought this to be good but went back to analogs after 4 months or so.
About a year and a half ago I wanted to try again and went to a vision spinner and aerotank setup with a few other juices including halo. While this was good I found coils to flood, burn, etc and left a lot to be desired and went back to analogs for a few months. I realized I didn't need want another hobby as I have many and am quite active. Mainly looking for a good, relatively low maintenance setup/analog replacement that I can carry in my pocket. So I tested a mini pro tank with my spinner. Found it to be a bit lower maintenance, good but still lacking a bit.
Researched a lot and decided to try an istick 30 and subtank nano. Wow. Not in a great way. Nothing like an analog. Even with the 1.2ohm coil and at lowest wattage it burns hot, gurgles, etc. Well the metal on it broke one day so back to the drawing board...
I researched and found that nautilus started making organic cotton bvcs so I grabbed a nautilus mini. That is what I'd been waiting for. I use it between 6-7 watts on my istick and its great! Better vapor and flavor than anything I've tried before. I've recently found goodejuice NETs. Between them and the nautilus mini it's the closest thing to analogs I've found. I have had 2 nautilus coils burn out a bit prematurely @2-3 days but they performed great til then and out of 10 I don't think that's bad compared to everything I've tried. I use anywhere between 1 and 2mls of juice a day of 12mg. I love goodejuice "analog" mixed with abit of "lizard tail" as analog is a bit sweet and lizard tail adds a nice smokiness :) best juice I've tried. Feel free to leave comments, suggestions on similar juice, thoughts, etc. Thanks!

Welcome to ECF. Great to hear that you found a tank that you are happy with. The gear and juice that works right for you is crucial to success in quitting smoking.

The Nets are notorious for gunking up coils quickly. I get pretty good life on the coils I build for my Russian 91s. I wick with KGD cotton. I would suggest that you do a Youtube search on rebuilding the Nautilus coils/heads. I also believe that there is at least one thread on ECF that discusses this. Learning to rebuild those coils will save you quite a bit of money.

I vape a few of the Ahlusion tobaccos and although they are not nets, they have some amazing tobacco flavors. They do not gunk up my r91s too quick either.

Good luck and have fun. Keep posting and enjoy!

Congrats on sticking with it and finding an enjoyable Combo. Keep experimenting and it will get even better.
Eventually, after Research and Learning from the Vape Master's here, you gotta go with building, RDAs/RBAs/RTAs. Truly the BEST for getting satisfying Flavor, Vapor, and Customization to your liking.
I resisted it for about 3 years (regrettably in hindsight) then got educated on here and took the plunge.
I will NEVER go back except for the one CoolFire 1 and Megatank Combo I kept to use when doing Yard Work and such so if I destroy it,,, No Biggie.
30 yr 2 pack a day myself. None since committed and stuck with the Vape Hobby 4 years ago.
Stay the Course and keep on trying new Stuff and Rigs. It's not a Habit-It's a Hobby, Passion,,, A Way of Life (figuratively and literally).

I would look into learning to rebuild and get a couple of the Ehpro Kayfun lites. Its really not time consuming at all. I have 5 and once a month I rebuild all my coils (Takes me about 15 minutes) they usually last me the rest of the month. I never have leaking. I do have some Protank 2 for my more corrosive juices. I say I spend no more time on my vaping then it would take me to stop by the store to buy my cigarettes.

I agree with Hitcat. I had the big nautilus on a vision spinner, but found it wasn't powerful enough. I put it on a 18650 mech mod and got a lot better performance out of it. However, I was sucking sown 50 - 60 mL of 20 nic strength a week and almost gave up on vaping. I discovered that a bigger cloud gave me an emotional release that was more satisfying and helped me stay off the analogs. I bought a Kracken and learned how to build and haven't gone back to a pre-made coil since. I'm down to a 3 nic strength and prefer my drippers, but I have several tanks that I use every day with a variety of flavors so that I do't get burned out on any one juice. My all day every day is still a genesis style . I like them because the coils aren't in the reservoir and don't constantly heat/burn the juice.
