This is her car after the fact... the initial impact was on the drivers side door, but obviously she was turned and hit other things as well somehow after that...

I know I don't normally post in this thread because it's difficult to keep up with so much...

But we just found out some bad news, and I would ask for prayer and/or positive thoughts...

My niece (my husbands niece to be exact) was in a serious car accident today - it's her 21st birthday today. Her name is Savannah.

She was on her way to Grundy to pick up Anna Lee, and pulled out on the highway out here and a truck came fast around a corner and she got hit - hard.

They couldn't life flight her because of the weather, so they took her by ambulance to Johnson City (specialists there)...

She has serious damage to her spleen, both her hips (something occurred with the ball joints in her hips) and she has a brain bleed...

Please pray for her... she's in bad shape.
Hugs for you all.

Seriously I could not have let her go

But I hope this gives you some comfort: If Luna hadn't been fostered and offered for adoption, then we both would have missed out. With other people Luna is either a complete snob or she's scared of them. With me, she chirps, meows, merrups and talks her head off. She only sleeps on my lap or feet in bed. If I'm trying to type when she wants my lap - it's too bad, she headbutts her way in and curls up asleep.

I'm also a complete snob with ppl, I'm happiest on my own - with Luna talking her head off. She calms me down, makes me laugh and I'm so grateful to have this time with her

Most often, our pets are perfect for us, but it’s uncommon that we are the best person for them, really. And it’s magic when it happens.

I honestly think Georgia would do just as well with most people. She adores everyone she meets. But I was Rudy’s one and only. He liked people but was so afraid of them.

that is so true. MY guy Joe came from my daughter. She got him at a pet store because he was the last kitten out of a litter that no one would pick. He grew to 12-13 weeks and then they dumped 5-6 more 8 week old kittens in with him. All the 8 week old were getting picked so my daughter got Joe. She named him Bentley. He was grumpy and aloof. He did not like her much and really did not like her 7 year old son. I took him. We fell in love. Joe does tricks for me and just loves me. He flourished with me. People always talk about how much personality he has now. He always wants to sit outside with me and always goes up to greet a stranger. If I ask him for a kiss from across the room he gets to wherever I am and gives me several head butts (his kisses)Joe is just my guy.

I never really thought of me being perfect for her. She was very shy as a foster. After the car ride, she of course was terrified. I gave her a pat when I opened her crate into my house, and left her to it - she ran under my bed ;) I set up her litter tray in a corner beside the bed, food and water at the other end, also beside the bed. I talked to her a bit, then just left her to it.

The next morning, she peeked out and started talking. So I talked back. She did her businesses, refueled, then sat on the footrest by my feet. Even though I wanted to pet her, I just let her be. We had a great yarn, and throughout the day, she slowly worked her way up my legs as her resting spot.

The next morning, she curled up on my knees. I slowly put out a hand and just left it near her. She eventually sniffed it, then started headbutting it - so of course I patted her. Her response? A Harley Davidson had nothing on her motor  She spent the next ten minutes wanted to be patted all over. From that moment on, I had the Luna I have now

I'm glad Rudy was lucky enough to find you
