If Colby appeared in my doorstep, I'd welcome him in. I have no doubt he and my girls would get along just fine. Cheddar, however, would probably get into arguments with my mother's girl cat, Addy, who is a feisty little number.
Cheddar would not spend anytime arguing, she is far too busy, prancing around like a little fairy. She would probably say something like "bless your heart" and then dance off happily. Now Marble, Marble would do this. She is a feisty girl that wants to be held and purrs up a storm but as you go to kiss her she bites your nose and then claws you to get down.
I had a cat named Betty once who would only accept pats on her head. They made her purr contentedly but eventually a growl would build behind the purr and one was well advised to stop. Those who did not heed the warning bled.

I brought my junior to the farm today to get carrot tops and whatnot this weekend. The girl there says she’s excited for work on Sundays because I always bring in a different bunny. Then some lady was there telling me she really wants a rabbit since her dog died a while ago she’s been lonely. I told her I could rescue one for her that’s what I do . I was going to my work to feed storm and her family anyways. I ended up getting Lennon the little blonde one for her. He just went right into the trap for some carrot tops and kale . Took him home and sexed him realizing he’s a little boy . I felt bad for him because the others chase him off and don’t let him eat with them. He alwyas watches from across the street wishing he could join in on feeding time. I’d go feed him of course. But I think he’s gonna have a good home the lady was so happy and I set her up with a care package for him to have everything he neeeded when he got to his new home. He’s gonna be living inside and not have to worry for the first time in his life.
Let’s hope all goes well she says she will take him to the vet for a check up and flea medicine etc. Those poor homeless bunnies all have fleas . She is retired so will be able to spend lots of time with him.

I know you wish you could have all the work bunnies in a caring home. I'm so glad you can make it happen for him
