P226 plasticky? I think you're confusing with a Glock.:D

Lol
I'm a wheel gun fan.
Steel and a wheel for me.
Never jams, no safety needed, reliable as a hammer.
Simplicity and precision.

I also prefer my mods mechanical and metal.

Yep, this is a vaping forum!!

Has vaping not afforded you a new pair of shoes or that $200 purse you always wanted :D Guns are no different, not all girls like shoes and purses ;)

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Not a shoe collector, jewelry or the typical 'girly' things myself. I wouldn't dream of spending that much on a purse! I only buy another classic black purse when the one I am using wears out. Only piece of jewelry that I wear is my wedding set. I do have my dad and mom's wedding set and a couple of watches they owned. They're in the cedar chest along with dad's Army uniform and all the pictures they took.

Hell, even my husband has more clothes in the closet than I do. He is a shirt collector.

Hmm can't think of one thing that I do collect. I used to get into Waterford Crystal but even then I let hubby buy me those things for Christmas or birthdays.

I do have a lot of socks, if that counts?

This forum does terrible things to our wallets  Thankfully I fought off shinyatis for a long time. Once I stopped reviewing I saved so much money. I've spent more on my dad than I have on myself. Hopefully this new mod for me lasts a while so I can avoid shops now.

Plus I hate babying mods when they're new... at least when a mod is old I don't care about the nicks and scratches it gets.

Never was super careful with mine. I broke a ProVari .... twice... Since getting a stand for them, no more breaking LOL.

I try to get things that are built like tanks cuz I know how I am.

My poor Reo was dropped on the ground, took 20 foot jumps off of a ladder and a lot of other torture. I "try" to be careful (especially with regulated mods) but it gets to a point like "ugh, where did the RDA cap roll to?"

I'm trying to take a shiny-hiatus. But the common mech comp mod seems to spread like weeds. They must sprout from their battle decks like tootie tanks from spare parts. Lately they seem to hide behind the mod stands. There they scream like thirsty babes to sit on the knee of a 20700 or so and soon bewildered you have a family to support.

Good luck. :)

My REO barely works.
Misfires and every atty has a huge gap at the 510 which seeps juice in hot temps.
Personally I prefer the coppervape over the REO.

I had sold my Reo. It worked perfectly, was just cosmetically flawed. I just sort of wanted to go back to regulated.

I'll defend shiny-itus, lol. I think it helps some of us stay off the cigs. I do know this one guy who has has used the same ego twist style batteries, silica wicked clearos and tobacco flavored, high PG china juice for 5+ years. He was telling me just the other day it's getting harder for him to find his regular stuff . .especially the juice he likes.

For me, though, getting new stuff keeps it interesting. I'm just gonna say for me and in my opinion - the experience of vaping is inferior to the experience of smoking. It just is. So I need to get new juices, new tanks, new devices, etc . .to keep it interesting. With cigarettes I never went searching for a "better experience" . . but that's just how it is with vaping . .especially for a lot of us . . so shiny-itus is part of my smoking cessation strategy.
