I would avoid the Techmod SbS. @stabwood is good - had two and both died.

If you want a high quality SbS take a look at the Aspire Mixx. Several of us have one or more.

sourcemore has them for $60. Aspire MIXX Mod VW VV Box Mod 60W single 18650/18350

Element vape, in Cali, has them for the same price. Element ships quick.
Appreciate that. I post a lot of what I'm buying in here or the bargain bin thread to get some additional feedback on what I'm buying, but I'm sure most of it is viewed as flexing w/out a response, lol. I'd like people to chime in on their thoughts about what I'm looking at.

I was just going to buy the Techmod cuz it looked cool and was on sale. I don't really need it per se. I'll be taking that out of the cart now. Thanks!

I settled on the RTA's I liked best. Bought several and also bought many spare parts for them. Same with the RDA's I have.
Do I need to buy several of the actual items, or mostly just the gaskets/pins/etc?

Scooped up many mech's. Tubes and squonkers. Mech mods, with proper maintenance, will easily outlast us.
I'm not very comfortable with the idea of mech mods just yet. I have a VV Squonk mech BF Pulse and the Dovpo Topside Dual. I suppose I should be buying some reserve juice tanks and stuff for those.

This calculator will help you determine how much nic you will need going forward. Vaping Community e-liquid Calculator - Vapocalypse Calculator
Don't plan on making my own stuff in regards to juice. This one I'll take up the tailpipe if I must.

That's what scares me... I bought my original Joyetech mod back in 2015 with an Aspire Atlantis and had never purchased anything other than new prebuilt coils for it. I'm nearing half of what you've acquired over the past 10+ years, in 2 months. And now that I'm getting into RBA/RTA/RDTAs because it's a lot of fun, I fear this is only going to get worse. I'm looking at a Kizoku Techmod 80W TC Box Mod | Healthcabin because I don't have a SBS yet and I think this looks good and has a reasonable price tag. I was never much into the small vape pens and the like. They did help me stop smoking though.

Take a look at the Aspire Mixx also at HC. It’s another sharp looking SBS. As an owner of both the Mixx and the Techmod, my experience is that Kizoku is too new at hardware. HC has the Mixx at the lowest I’ve seen it for plus right now they have a discount code ‘LABOR15’ for 15% off everything in your cart.

    Hi Charlie :)

No nic sick for me. In the mornings I drip 15-20 hits of what I call my High Octane Nic Fix. It's flavorless and has 24mg nic. Haha, I enjoy the morning nic buzz with some kick azz coffee. After that I'm bouncin' off the walls and it's on to 3mg or 6mg for the rest of the day.

I'm addicted to . . . Life, and all It has to offer. Pedal to the metal. Go big or go home. ;)

I hope you and Veronica are well, enjoying yourselves and having fun. Be well my friend. :D
Me I'm still on a constant 18mg but beginning to think it affects the flavour of my DIY juices....am considering cutting down!!

I get one hell of a buzz initially if I change up to an RDA but I soon recover and can vape it normally again....an RDA is definitely the fastest way of getting NIC into your system :)

Hope you, Carlie and your cat are well too.... we're fine here especially with the better weather...lots of jobs to do :)

I always buy several of everything particularly RDTA's as it's so much simpler to change out the flavour profiles it you fancy a change. Orings and the like always wear out eventually so good to have spares :)

As far as mechs go. They're simple and easy to repair so you'll never be without something to vape with....that's the thinking behind it.

As far as DIY goes....so much cheaper and I hate the sweetness of a lot of bought liquids....overkill!! If you DIY and have enough NIC in the freezer you're self sufficient for a lifetime.

Good to have you here on the enabling thread....beware its dangerous for your wallet :D

Hi everyone! Been off line for a bit not feeling very well. Hope you’re all well.

Vape mail from last week included the brushed steel Innokin Kroma R l, anothe Skarr-r sub ohm tank and lots more Vaporesso GT sub ohm coils for the stash or I am just too lazy to build.

I really wasn’t looking for a single 18650 battery mod but I really loved how it looks. And fortunately it works like it’s supposed to.

It’s super easy to use. Not much in the way of bells and whistles but it hits quickly and is comfortable to hold. I particularly like the Fire “button” which is actually the bar that displays the information screen. So it’s pretty “nifty” lol!!

    Nice. Very nice.

The majority of my RTA's are Kayfun's, Dvarw's and Tripod's. When I bought them I also bought spare parts for each. I always bought spare insulators, 510 pins, spare glass and other misc spares. I bought most of those direct from the manufacturer and some from 3rd party online stores. I also have some one-off RTA's that I also purchased spares for.

With o-rings it is best to measure them and buy those from someplace that sells higher quality o-rings. I buy mine from The O-ring Store. They have very high quality o-rings and they let you purchase them in smaller quantities. Most of the other o-ring stores require you to purchase like a minimum of 100 of each size.

Sadly many of the companies mass producing RTA's do not sell spare parts for them. Some sell spare glass, some don't. Most do not sell spare insulators. On and on. If you fry an insulator you will end up tossing the atty BUT don't cuz you can still use it for parts if you have another. For the mass produced atty's it is best to purchase several of each of the tanks you like most.

I'm not very comfortable with the idea of mech mods just yet. I have a VV Squonk mech BF Pulse and the Dovpo Topside Dual. I suppose I should be buying some reserve juice tanks and stuff for those.
Most of the folks I've helped to get stocked up over the last three years were not comfortable with mech mods either. In the end they all bought one or two mechs.

Using a mech is pretty straightforward. There are things to learn, and learn very well, before using a mech. Once you understand those it's just like using a regulated mod. I use mechs everyday.

Don't plan on making my own stuff in regards to juice. This one I'll take up the tailpipe if I must.
No one knows if retail juices will still be available after the FDA Deeming Regulations are set in stone. It's expected those will be announced this coming September. Several juice makers have filed PMTA's for their products. No one knows if the FDA will approve those.

Many on ECF feel that after September the only vaping options available, in the US, will be closed system pod mod offerings from BT. Big tobacco is not going to tell anyone what is in their juices. Their cigs have over 4000 ingredients. It wouldn't surprise me if there is more than nic, flavorings and PG/VG in BT's juices.

Worst case you will still be able to buy PG/VG and flavorings to make your own juice. That way you won't have to take it up the tailpipe. There are many on ECF who would be more than happy to help you with DIY if you ever decide to go that route.

Honestly, your stocking up so late in the game your best bet - and I'm the only one who'll say this - is to find a couple favorites (RTA, RDA, regulated and mechanical mods) and buy multiples of those few favorites.
Here's a list of what I currently have that I've really liked so far, a list of stuff I wasn't impressed with, and a list of stuff I have but haven't tried yet. Feel free (anyone) to chime in on what you think is or isn't good from the list. Bear in mind that these are all rather new and are still fully functional, so if you have experience with any of these and have had failures, etc - please feel free to leave feedback. Off the top of my head:

-Liked for either flavor or flavor/cloud mix-
Aegis X w/ Falcon King (Second fav. Sub-ohm)
Dovpo Topside Dual w/ GV Talo X RDA
Voopoo Mini w/ Profile RDTA (probably my fav. RDTA/RTA)
    Vaporesso FORZ w/ FORZ Tank
Asmodus Minikin 3S w/ Viento Tank (Third fav. Sub-ohm tied with Valyrian II which is sidelined atm?)
Aegis Max (which I think is actually the Solo?) w/ Z Tank (probably my fav. Sub-ohm)
Smok RPM160 Pod (w/ 510 converter when needed)
Aegis Boost Pro /w RDTA converter (Original pod worked super well, also w/ 510 convert when needed)
    Smok Thallo 80W Pod Kit
    Smok RPM2S Pod Kit
Joyetech eVic VT (running on fumes though) w/ Eleaf ELLO Tank
Asmodus Colossal 80W Mod (seems weak or not the best compatibility with tank but works) w/ Uwell D2 RTA (tank took a bit to grow on me)
Uwell Valyrian II Tank (good, but not as amazing as the reviews put out - could be the coil)
Horizontech Arco II (okay-good, not great)
    Freemax Pro Tank

    -Disliked/Lackluster/Impartial-
Sigelei Sobra Mod w/ Moonshot 120 (tank is okay - not a fan of the overall aesthetic mostly/feels cheap)
    Sigelei Meteor RDTA
Eleaf iStick Mod (feels cheep and slow ramp up)
    Asmodus Flow Tank (spits/leaks)
    Asmodus Galatek RDA is okay
Aspire Quad Flex in RDA is meh
Sense Blazer 200 Tank (the ceramic coil tastes off)
Aspire Atlantis Tank (my first tank - never could get it to taste very good)

    -Haven't Used Yet-
    Uwell Rafale X RBA
VV Pulse BF Squonk Mod (Pulse RDA is okay)
    Asmodus Ohmie Tank (looks/feels cheap)
    Asmodus Minikin Reborn Mod
    Asmodus Minikin 2 Mod

I'm sure I've missed some stuff, but this is mostly everything.

I thought River Supply had broken away from Nicotine River in order to have their flavor side to be a separate business from their nicotine products.

Yet, when I made a flavoring purchase yesterday from them it's showing up on my CC as a tobacco product purchase...

Did they not reorganize in order to continue selling flavorings? Maybe I'm misremembering..

Yeah same here. And I feel it was somewhat sneaky and underhanded. I placed an order with Wizard Labs a few days earlier and on my CC it showed up as just Wizard Labs. What RS did, I feel like they just snitched on me to the Gov.

After a back and forth with the vape shop that sold me the Juggy MR they are picking it up tomorrow.

Had to send them the pic i posted before but with red arrows so they would see where the silicone was deformed:

After the 2nd pic i sent they realised the problem, told me tomorrow someone will pick it up,so yeah my Juggy is going away.

So atleast it will be a week or two...they gotta receive and review it to see if they can go ahead with the warranty, meanwhile im chugging on my ol' trusty Destiny RTA...i miss my Juggy :(:(

Is the Kizoku Unlimit Tank any good? It looked interesting being both an RTA/prebuilt interchangeable. Esp. since the coils are compatible with the Falcon King.

We shall see. I just envision a mech mod blowing up in my face because I didn't check the batteries I threw in it, or I used the wrong coils and just inhaled a bunch of toxic metal fumes, lol.

I have two of them. One, the top cap seized and I can't remove it from the body. As far as performance (of the other one), it's ok. It's innovative as far as it being an RTA or can use Falcon coils, so I thought would be great for the Vapeacolypse. It might be my build but so far, as an RTA, it hasn't lived up to expectations for how much Youtube reviewers were gushing about it. But HC has it for cheap so it's not a huge gamble.

Each of those has a very loyal worldwide following. The OG's could be considered high end. Personally I consider them quality RTA's that will last. For me, that peace of mind equals money well spent. The build quality is extremely tough to beat on the authentic RTA's. Fasttech and other places do sell the clones for each. Some are good, some not so good, all depends who made it.

My very first RTA was a SvoëMesto Kayfun lite (2013), I was hooked. At the time it was considered the best RTA on the market. I still use it from time to time. I've only replaced a couple o-rings on it.

Funny thing, most RTA manufacturers directly copied the deck design of the OG KFL. Some still copy the newer SvoëMesto deck designs. IMHO that speaks volumes about SvoëMesto's offerings.

The expromizer is a good rdta but the Thunderhead Creations Artemis rdta is much better in flavor and quality and won't leak.

    Yep,thanks for the idea Letitia.

Will wait to see what response i get from the shop but i have used them quite a bit and never had a problem so i am hoping for a good outcome.

Either way i will send them an email explaining everything,i am going to miss my Juggy...my Destiny just doesn't feel ''right'' :(

I understand; hard to find a rta that hits that sweet spot and then settle for something else. I used to build one of my beloved obs nanos for nostalgia but it doesn't stay rotation after a refill or two. Finally quit; same with my beloved therions.

You should check whether the Colossal is set to S (soft), N (normal), or H (hard). When I got my first one, I was disappointed by the wimpiness of the vape, and it turned out it was at S for some reason. Once I changed it to N, all was well.

I don't remember off the top of my head how to make this adjustment, but someone else will chime in presently, I'm sure.

Thank you for the feedback. I also take into account if they're equipped for a BF pin as well. Much of the reason why I really like the Profile - it's so versatile and the flavor (and clouds) is unmatched for me yet. I'll have to look into these other suggestions later. It's also funny you mentioned the Doom X, I was literally looking at that this morning.
