Salutations fellow vaperinos.

Quick pop in to say and hope you all doing ok,you know the usual staying safe and healthy.

Not much free time lately, stupid identity theft case is so frustrating...last 2 weeks been with my lawyer getting all the paperwork together.

Not really worried since i got nothing to my name and this isn't a penal offense i am not worried for me but just for the time i am wasting trying to get it resolved.

vaping wise well same ol' same ol',still waiting for my sourcemore package so i can review the Jackaroo kit and the Kriemhild II tank.
This afternoon it just changed to ''The shipment is handed over in bulk, final acceptance of goods to be confirmed'' so i am hoping i don't have to wait much more.

Few moments i have left i have been binge watching the tv series Royal Pains and listening to some songs from the 80's

Shiny wise i am still looking at the Arbiter Solo RTA by Oxva, depending on the finances maybe i will get one.
Will be using it exclusively in RDL mode so i am eager to see how it goes.

Not much more to say, wish i could spend more time here with you kind folks but life always seems to get in the way.

Best wishes to all of you :)

Nice to hear from you Javi. Hope your Pops is doing ok. Take care, stay safe. :)

It's a winner - great flavour, easy to fill and rewick. It's tighter airflow wise though, compared to the JK Mini. They've also got a mini version of the Arbiter coming out, which looks promising - if it's any good as a single coil:

On my authentic Squape Arise there is a marking on the base and one on the tank section clearly showing how they fit together.

See the photo I posted of the base above. There are two markings on it for aligning it with the tank section. There is one marking on the tank section.

I'm fairly certain those are shown in Todd's video.
My clone has the markings on the cap and base to...to take the cap off, or adjust the air and juice flow.
    IMG_20210929_162716.jpg

But when the cap is off, the internal section isn't fixed...it can rotate inside the cap when touched..to wash or whatever.
When it's turned, it's out of alignment with the base...and the two sections don't fit together again, when the outside marks are aligned. Man it can get very frustrating to find the right orientation again. I need to make marks on the insides...somehow.

I did see the Arbiter 2,shame it is a double coil atty thou but it does look good.

Airlflow/draw wise i have been using my JuggerKnot Mini (Clone) with half of the airflow closed, how would that compare to the Arbiter (RDL mode) with all the airflow open?

On other news i ordered some aromas/base today and i talked to the manager of one of the shops and he says they have been selling the Wasp Nano RTA V2 like crazy.

♎ Wasp Nano RTA V2 by Oumier | SINHUMO SEVILLA ♎

They ordered 150 to distribute between their 8 stores (and online sales) and by the next morning they were all sold out, they had to place another order right away.
My first RTA was the Wasp Nano and it was good, haven't read any reviews of the V2 thou not sure how it performs,it is bottom airflow thou...i gave up on those, just to much hassle.

Uh...while we're agreeing to disagree, I feel the need to agree and disagree...:p
It's true that the Arise has more moving parts than the Dvarw, but once the Arise is set, it's definitely easier for me to operate. One thing about the Dvarw that irks me is the refill...don't mind the unscrewing, but the wet bottomed base is a no no for me.
The Arise is so much easier to rewick and fill...plus the flavor is excellent. Just don't twist the internals :w00t:

By internal section do you mean the part I highlighted in your photo?
    -1.jpg

That part is called the Closing Ring. On the authentic it does not come installed (I forget the reason why, but there is a reason). StattQualm provides detailed instructions on how to install it. Once it is properly installed it will not rotate or move at all. And it can still be removed for cleaning.

Makes me wonder if the clones are the same way and they don't tell you that you need to properly install the Closing Ring.

I attached the instructions below. Line the Closing Ring up with the base as shown in S-3. The two juice flow ports on the Closing Ring should line-up with where your wick tails would be and in-line with where your coil would be. Then line up the base vertical line with the one on the tank section. Attach the base with Closing Ring as shown in S-4 while pushing down on the tank section and up on the base. Then turn the base all the way to the left and then all the way to the right, then back to remove ->|<- remove the tank -> Closing Ring is in place. If the clone is like the OG it will click into place. Once it is in place it will not move at all (don't know how they did the clones).

    Hopefully that helps you.

On the clone, there is no closing ring...or as far as I know.
The top section just fits over the base.
    IMG_20210930_111534.jpg

The 'internals' in the top can rotate inside the housing...if I stick my finger in there and turn it. That then misaligns the fitment of the two. To find that alignment position again is the issue.
Hope it makes sense what i'm saying...?
It's not a big deal though. The more I fiddle with it, the more I get fimiliar with it. It's a damn fine clone..I have to say.

    I have a literal army of RDA's I love.

Just so happens I like my army of RTA's too. :D

I don't have problems with any of the RTA's I own. They just work, like they're supposed to... as any RDA I own does. ;)

The part I highlighted in my last post is the closing ring inside your tank section. That is the part that if not installed correctly will rotate.

Just to verify, is that the part that rotates inside your tank section?

If so then it likely is not installed correctly, or, the cloner didn't make a true 1:1 of the Arise.

If it is a 1:1 you should be able to take your tank section apart and push the part I highlighted out of the tank section. Then try installing it per the instructions I posted.

Nah I don't think it's a 1:1 clone. It is damn well made though. I'll strip it to bits next week and then see how it's fitted together.
I'm on another vibe now...going cycling the weekend in a pristine forest that has been opened to the public very recently. I'll get some photos ;)
