I am trying not to cry here but $15.00 shipping for one battery. Am I doing something wrong in my checkout cart?

Nope. That's the going rate from China. Just order $250.00 Worth of stuff and they'll ship free. 
All I do is wait till I want a few things then order, as it same shipping for lots of items as one item as you have discovered ha-ha!
When I order from them I tend to order multiples of everything. When you do this it still ends up being cheaper than any other online vendor.
I used to sell products from China, shipping didn't cost anywhere near $15 but whatever.
take advantage of the shipping cost (500g $15) for the low prices... If you can't add liquid or other things and only need 1 battery, you might want to order in USA. The bigger the order the better the deal.
