Hey all,

I'm shipping a Grand to Canada along with batteries, tubing, an extra door and some empty 6ml bottles.

What do I need to put on the customs declaration form to make sure it gets to this person safely? I've never shipped anything to Canada much less e-cig related items and I certainly don't want to screw it up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks - Karla

Jack says she thinks Rob puts Electric Vaporizer on the outside of his packages when he ships to Canada. Do you know if that's the case Rhaps?

Hello to you too. Haven't been on the forum much lately, I spend less money that way! Been on the last few days to try to find good homes for some odds and ends. Hope this day finds you and the hubster well.

You guys are a mess!

Thanks Rhaps, I got it sent off and now the person is telling me that there's a general mail strike in Canada so he doesn't have a clue when he might get it. He says he does have a mini to tide him over until the Grand arrives so that's good news.

Oh no! I was hoping that if they had to strike that they could keep it to the rolling strike. Bummer. Hopefully it will be short lived and your buyer will get his gear sooner than later.

Yes there is a full walkout strike. I'm ...... about it because I sold my phid to a really nice guy in the US. He was so looking forward to getting it so quick too. The strike happened a day after I put it in the mail for him and he was suppose to receive it tomorrow. But as it stands its sitting in Canada still doing nothing, but what really gets me is that they gave us no warning at all. I mean, wouldn't the clerk I handed the package to know of an impending walk out? As she took my package and my money she assured me it would only take 4 days to get to its destination.

I feel so bad for this guy I sent my phid to because he didn't deserve to wait because of this. Had I known it was about to happen I would have warned him of the delay so he could have the choice of buying from someone else :(

It's not a walkout strike, the workers have been locked out by Canada Post, hoping for some "back to work" legislation that wasn't possible with the rolling strikes. The purpose of the rolling strikes was to hurt CP, as regular mail was still being delivered, albeit a little slower, however AD(junk) mail came to a halt - costing CP about 100mil so far, but not affecting the average Canadian beyond a cleaner mailbox lol

CP decided to lock out the workers, forcing government intervention, as CP is a crown corporation. FYI, CP employees start at $23/hour, the corporation has surplus annual revenue of over 100 million, and the pension fund is billions in deficit. wut?
